  • You may now swap the difficulty to “newcomer” from a “retro” file. This can be done from the “file select” screen.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where the boomerang sound effect would play for far too long.
  • Fixed a soft lock in Act 2 where the player could leave behind the Bellion, locking themselves in a pit.
  • Fixed a bug in Act 3 where Belle and all of the enemies would disappear.
  • Fixed a couple of background inconsistencies corresponding to Act 3.
  • Fixed a soft lock in Act 4 where the player could defeat the boss prematurely.

How to download updates for Belle Boomerang for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Belle Boomerang, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
