Australia: Yo-kai Watch to come out out in December, instead of 2016

Yo-kai WatchThis morning, Nintendo Australia had some pretty good news for all players looking forward to the very first Yo-kai Watch game down under. Originally, the game was supposed to come out next year (like the rest of Europe), but finally, it will be released on December 5th (just in time for Christmas).

Europeans fans who really can’t wait for Yo-kai Watch, and want it as soon as possible (and at all costs), will be able to import it, since Australia is (for Nintendo) in the same region as Europe. However, we do not know (yet) if the game will have the usual Multi-5 translations (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish), or if English will be the only language available in Australian copies of Yo-kai Watch.

But it’s not just the game: the anime series will also debut in December in Australia, on Channel 9’s GO! channel. Unfortunately, the press release doesn’t mention any date, but we should hear more about that in the next few weeks. Finally, we get the confirmation that Hasbro will release its first Yo-kai Watch toyline in Australia next year.

Yo-kai Watch (3DS) will come out on November 5th in North America, December 5th in Australia/New Zealand, and next year in Europe.
