Arcade Archives VS. STAR LUSTER releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is VS. STAR LUSTER. It’s a space combat simulator originally developed and released by Namco on the Family Computer System in 1985 in Japan, before being ported to Arcade via the Nintendo VS. System that same year. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on June 13th and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

The player uses the Star luster “G.A.I.A” to fight the invader “Battura” who is trying to cause a big bang. Defend your base from enemies by switching between Map Mode, where you choose which enemies to attack, and Combat Mode in the battle space.

Arcade Archives VS. STAR LUSTER (Switch – eShop) comes out on June 13th worldwide.
