Arcade Archives Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS II releases next week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release is Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS II. It’s a sidescrolling shooter game originally developed and released on Arcade by Banpresto (now part of Bandai-Namco) back in 1993 in Japan. It supports from 1 to 2 players.

On Nintendo Switch, Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS II will launch on July 10th and it will cost 14.99€ / £13.49 / $14.99 / 1,500 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

The game follows the story of the original video animation “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross II -LOVERS AGAIN-”. Set around 80 years after “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross,” Earth is faced by a new threat that players must defeat – the Marduk. Clear each stage by achieving the designated “CLEAR SCORE” within the time limit.

Arcade Archives Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS II (Switch – eShop) both come out on July 10th worldwide.
