Arcade Archives Galaga ’88 releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster have confirmed that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Galaga ’88. It’s a fixed shooter game originally developed and released on Arcade by Namco back 1987 in Japan. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on April 27th, and as usual, it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

“GALAGA’88” is a shooter released by NAMCO (Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1987. The GALAGA forces have returned, and you have to cross dimensions and fight your way to Planet Galaga to end the war. This title lets you power up with 3 linked FIGHTERS for a TRIPLE FIGHTER. Use its massive firepower to mow down enemies!
