Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt events – #1

A few days ago, yet another event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was teased by Nintendo on the official Animal Crossing account on Twitter. It showed mysterious creatures on a tree, and the player seemingly looking for it. It’s called the Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt, and it’s now live! It runs until May 10th.

As the name implies, this brand new type of event tasks you with finding gyroidite, which can be found all over the place. But why search for them in the first place, you ask? Well, those mysterious little creatures can be used to craft special furniture and clothing items, including a look-alike set featuring Tom Nook and Isabelle, but also various other animals!

If you need some help finding gyroidite, you can head over to the Shovelstrike Quarry, where you will be able to find some… but only when the gyroidite icon is displayed on the map! Naturally, gyroidite will no longer appear there once the event is over.

Finally, if you want even more gyroidite, you can try to complete the special set of Timed Goals: Event Challenge. Make sure to check out the Events and Content Updates page for more details!

Here’s the items you can craft using those gyroidite:

Look-Alike Set Furniture

  • K. K. Slider’s guitar (natural): Leaf Ticket x100

Look-Alike Set Clothing

  • Isabelle hat (civic): Leaf Ticket x50
  • Isabelle’s spring top (civic): 300 Bells, gyroidite x25
  • Isabelle’s skirt (civic): 300 Bells, gyroidite x25
  • Reese hat (cute): 500 Bells, gyroidite x35
  • Resse’s apron (cute): 100 Bells, gyroidite x15
