Adjustments affecting the overall systems

  • Shove

    • Relaxed window during which you can transition into the next move from performing a shove.

  • Normal Attack and Chase Dash Clashing

    • Relaxed window when transitioning into a jump or guard after a normal attack and chase dash of both players clash.

    • Support Skills can no longer be used during a clash.

  • Attack Scaling

    • Fixed an issue where combo scaling would persist after extending the combo by attacking opponents in a “super armor” state with projectiles.

Character Specific Adjustments

  • Tanjiro Kamado (Entertainment District)

    • Shortened the movement distance for the second hit of Support Skill 1.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 1.

  • Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form)

    • Increased the movement speed of chase dash.

    • Reduced the guard depletion of chase dash.

  • Zenitsu Agatsuma (Entertainment District)

    • Reduced knockback when an opponent guards against the first and second hit of Support Skill 1.

    • Shortened the movement distance for the second and third hit of Support Skill 1.

    • Reduced distance to trigger Support Skill 1.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 1.

  • Inosuke Hashibira (Entertainment District)

    • Decreased combo scaling for Skill 3, and increased damage output.

  • Sakonji Urokodaki

    • Reduced the movement distance when attacking with Support Skill 1.

    • Reduced distance to trigger Support Skill 1.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 1.

    • Reduced movement distance when attacking with Support Skill 2. Additionally, reduced knockback when opponent guards against it.

    • Reduced distance to trigger Support Skill 2.

    • Reduced tracking range when activating Support Skill 2.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 2.

  • Genya Shinazugawa

    • Reduced the combo timer for Support Skill 1.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 1.

    • Extended the combo timer for Support Skill 2.

    • Changed the reaction when attacking opponent with Support Skill 2.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 2.

  • Obanai Iguro

    • Increased the hit box for Support Skill 1 when attacking.

    • Reduced distance to trigger Support Skill 1.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 1.

  • Sanemi Shinazugawa

    • Adjusted the Light Attack: 4-Hit Combo (Upper) to hit an opponent in the air more easily.

    • Aerial Attack (Plunge) can now be canceled with Special Attacks when an opponent guards.

    • Adjusted Skill 2 so that it is possible to continue combos after landing a maximum charge attack.

    • Adjusted Skill 3 so that it hits an opponent more easily.

    • Reduced knockback when an opponent guards against Support Skill 3.

  • Gyomei Himejima

    • Shortened the movement distance when attacking with Support Skill 2.

    • Reduced distance to trigger Support Skill 2.

    • Reduced knockback when an opponent guards against the first hit of Support Skill 2.

    • Increased damage dealt by Support Skill 2.

  • Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma

    • Adjusted the Light Attack: 5-Hit Combo to hit an opponent in the air more easily.

  • Yushiro and Tamayo

    • Adjusted Skill 3’s counter to hit more easily after a successful dodge.

  • Yoriichi Type Zero

    • Lowered maximum charge requirements for Skill 3.

  • Akaza (Infinity Castle)

    • Reduced knockback and the window to cancel the skill when an opponent guards against Skill 3.

    • Delayed the timing for Skill 3’s skill gauge recovery.

    • Delayed window to cancel Skill 3 when it hits, and removed skill gauge consumption when

    • Quick Dodge is used to cancel Skill 3.

    • Increased combo scaling for Demon Skill 1, and decreased damage output.

    • Reduced knockback when an opponent guards against Demon Skill 1.

    • Decreased combo scaling for Demon Skill 2, and increased damage output.


Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 – Ver. 1.04

How to download updates for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
