FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time Nintendo Switch 2 Edition announced; first details shared
Last month, Level-5 announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road would also launch on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the previously announced Nintendo Switch version. And today, the company announced its third Nintendo Switch 2 game: FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time Nintendo Switch 2 Edition!
Unfortunately, very little is known about this version of the game. All Level-5 shared is that it will offer higher resolution and higher framerate than the Nintendo Switch version. No mention of any additional features, like mouse controls for example.
However, what we do know is that players who decide not to wait and buy the Nintendo Switch version later this month will be able to buy an Upgrade Pack to the Nintendo Switch 2 version (the price is 300 Yen in Japan, TBA in other regions). The release date of FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time Nintendo Switch 2 will be announced at a later date.
Here’s prices for all versions of the game:
- Nintendo Switch: 7,678 Yen
- Nintendo Switch 2: 7,978 Yen
- Upgrade Pack: 300 Yen
- Digital Deluxe Edition (Switch): 8,778 Yen
- Digital Deluxe Upgrade (Switch): 1,760 Yen
Finally, Level-5 specifies that when playing FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on Nintendo Switch, performance and features will be in line with those of the Nintendo Switch version. This seems to indicate that Marvelous made no mistake when stating that you could use Nintendo Switch 2 cards on Nintendo Switch (at least, for games that are released as Nintendo Switch 2 Edition).
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (Switch) comes out on May 21st in Europe and North America, and May 22nd. No release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version yet.
