Xenoblade Chronicles X: website update (March 19) – Monsters, video, screens and more

This morning, Monolith Software once again updated their official website for Xenoblade Chronicles X. And this week, the focus is on monsters, with a video for unique monsters (those have their own name in the overworld, and they happen to be much more powerful than the others), a look at some of the species of Planet Mira, some concept-art, a couple screenshots and more.

Xenoblade Chronicles X – Unique monsters

Monolith Software uploaded a brand new video for Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is about Unique monsters. They are called “Overed”, and some quests require you to go and kill them. Of course, you’ll need to be prepared, as they’re much more powerful than regular monsters.

Xenoblade Chronicles X – Monsters showcase

Today’s update for the official website includes a monster showcase, in which we get to see some of the species living on Planet Mira.

Xenoblade Chronicles X – Concept-art

The Gallery section of the official website was also updated, and now includes some concept-art by Mr Arai.

Xenoblade Chronicles X – Short story

Today, Monolith Software posted the 2nd part of their ’24h Happy People’ short-story, which can be found there (only in Japan)! A fan translation should be available in the upcoming days.

Xenoblade Chronicles X – New screenshots

Finally, we have some brand new screenshots for the game, showcasing some of the environments of the game:

Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U) comes out on April 29th in Japan, and later this year in Europe and North America.
