Deltarune – Ver. 0.0.0.253
- Release date: TBA
- Patch notes:
ADDITIONAL CHAPTER 5 FEATURES
・After losing to the Shadow Crystal boss, a Pink Bomb will appear outside the arena. Talking to this bomb allows you to choose “Nicer” or “Meaner”. Choosing “Nicer” causes the boss’s small bomb attacks to have an indication of where their explosions will target. The bombs will also take 1/6th of a second longer to explode. Choosing “Meaner” causes all of the boss’s attacks to deal 25% more damage as well as slightly increases the speed of a couple attacks. The bomb explosion hitbox also activates 1 frame later regardless of difficulty.*
* Note: Girls like it when you are better at dodging danmaku.
・Malius now animates when fusing items.
FIXED BUGS
Chapter 2
・Removed a softlock caused by disconnecting an audio device during sequences synced to the music.

・Fixed an issue where Susie’s magic was erroneously upgraded to BetterHeal upon fighting the boss of the Second Sanctuary. This change is also reflected in Chapter 5 – Susie’s healing will no longer be improved if you didn’t defeat the ShadowCrystal boss. (Although the name of the spell is the same either way now)
・You are no longer prevented from getting the BlackShard from the cliff if you have the BlueRibbon.
・Spamton’s box will no longer appear at the Cliff.
・You can no longer avoid getting chased before meeting the Old Man for the first time.
・When fighting the Shadow Crystal boss, the button prompt that appears should now properly reflect the button you are supposed to press.
・You no longer lose TP from quitting out of Susie’s menu selection when fighting the boss of the 2nd Sanctuary.
・Removed a softlock caused by disconnecting an audio device during the credits.
・Fixed a few minor issues.

・Fixed dozens of minor bugs and visual issues.
Thanks for your patience while we adjusted the game. We will now return to focusing on developing Chapter 6. We have no current plans for another patch unless any additional issues arise.

・Fixed an issue where you can clip through the floor after fighting three scarecrows by immediately opening the ACT menu, and other bugs involving the ACT menu.
・You can no longer crash the game by hitting an enemy and a Mysterious Statue at the same time. (Unless you can)
・You can no longer walk around during combat by interacting with Final Starwalker on the same frame you engage a battle. (And other similar issues)
・Fixed various scenarios where you can move around with the menu open.

NEXT TIME
In the next patch, we will add an option to nerf the bombs of the Shadow Crystal boss after losing to them once. Additionally, we plan to fix a small number of bugs in previous chapters which had gone unaddressed up until this point.
There is no plan for another extensive Chapter 5 patch after the next one. Instead, we will resume fully concentrating our development resources on Chapter 6 and 7.
