Memoranda

Carbon Fire Studio have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Memoranda, a point and click adventure game developed by Bit Byterz. It will be released on November 6th in Europe and North America, and will be available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop from October 30th. It will be playable in English, French, German, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

Memoranda is a game about forgetting and being forgotten!

A point and click adventure game with magic realism elements that tells the story of a young woman who gradually realizes that she is forgetting her own name. But is she really losing her memory, or is there something else that could explain the strange situation? The beautiful hand-drawn adventure takes place in a quiet little town where a few ordinary people live together with some more unusual characters. From a World War II veteran to an elephant taking shelter in a man’s cottage hoping to become a human, everyone in Memoranda has one thing in common: they are all on the verge of losing something. It could be a name, a loved one or even their own sanity!

The story is inspired by various Haruki Murakami short stories that describe a surreal world full of lonely characters.

QV

CFK have announced that QV will be released this November worldwide. They also shared some more details about the game:

QV is an original action adventure game that features beautiful graphics, colorful characters, and a variety of actions. In the game, the player controls a dimension-travelling girl named Quby and explores the forgotten ruins of the ancient time.

The story takes place in the world with many multiverses. As the Dimensional Core stopped working, the balance between dimensions becomes unstable, leading the dimensions to start collapsing altogether. Quby, the only one who can access the Core, heads to the ruins made by ancestors to find a way to repower the Core.

Quby’s journey will be hindered by hostiles and obstacles in the ruins. The player must use Quby’s inter-dimensional power and cooperate with companions to pull through the danger and explore the ruins. Find out what secrets are hidden in there, and get to the Dimensional Core!

The magic brush is Quby’s true partner in her adventure. With the brush, Quby can draw portals and make an ink bridge to walk on water. Connecting two portals creates a tunnel, through which Quby can freely warp between two places of the ruins.

QV (Switch – eShop) comes out in November worldwide.

Crimzon Clover – World EXplosion

Degica have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Crimzon Clover – World EXplosion. This Nintendo Switch version offers full handheld-only support, as well as TATE mode support (with controls optimisations). It will be released on October 29th worldwide, and will cost 19.99€ / $19.99 / 1 980 Yen.

Your first step in Crimzon Clover – World EXplosion is choosing how you want to play, as well as which powerful ship will be yours to command. Choose your version from ARCADE (true to the original arcade game), NOVICE (better if this is your first step into the world of hardcore shmuppage), or ARRANGE (a whole new can of worms with unique mechanics and novel challenges never seen before in the Crimzon Clover saga), then choose your Mode from BOOST, ORIGINAL, UNLIMITED, and TIME ATTACK.

Take control of a high-spec fighter and destroy massive waves of enemies while dodging their unending rain of bullets. Each of the three ships has its own style of standard firing and a unique appearance. The firing style is translated beautifully as you amp your way into BREAK MODE and DOUBLE BREAK MODE! As you blast through your foes in each stage you can collect stars that will raise your score. New to World EXplosion is a vastly altered take on the existing game: the ARRANGE version! Every game Mode has an ARRANGE version available to play, and these new takes on the existing Modes turn everything on its head:

• Destroy foes, then dodge their last-ditch revenge shots for an added challenge in the new BOOST Mode.
