Pokémon Sword and Shield
Not one, but two new Online Competitions for Pokémon Sword and Shield were announced today: one is worldwide (except Japan), the other is only for Japanese players. Here’s all the details:
International Friendly
- Registration: June 11th to June 25th
- Battles: June 26th to June 29th
- Participation prize: 50BP
- Pokémon restrictions: Pokémon added via the Isle of Amor DLC are banned
- Rules: standard VGC rules
Japan Decisive Battle 2020
- Registration: June 11th to June 25th
- Battles: June 26th to June 29th
- Participation prize: 50BP
- Reward: the Top 60 players will be invited to the Japan Decisive Battle 2020 event
- Pokémon restrictions: Pokémon added via the Isle of Amor DLC are banned

Pokémon The Movie: Coco
The latest issue of CoroCoro magazine will reveal that tickets for Pokémon The Movie: Coco will be available for pre-order from August 7th. On the same day, the Serial Codes for Shiny Celebi and Shiny Zarude (offered with each ticket pre-purchased) will be activated. The movie itself will open this Winter in Japan.
