Rodea: The Sky Soldier – Gameplay trailer

Rodea: The Sky Soldier is a game that might have never come out at all: it certainly took a long while (and several platform switches) before it finally was released in Early April in Japan. It was originally supposed to come out on the Wii, before being moved to the Nintendo 3DS and then the Wii U. In the end, all three versions came out, even the one for the Wii (not sold separately, but included with the first print copy of the Wii U version).

Since the localisation announcement, also in April, NIS America hasn’t mentionned Rodea: The Sky Soldier very often. The last time they made a major announcement, it was for the delay in Europe and North America: instead of September, the game will now come out in October.

And on Wednesday, NIS America uploaded a brand new trailer for the game. This one focuses on gameplay proper, though we do get a preview of the voice acting thanks to a couple of cutscenes.

Rodea: The Sky Soldier (Wii U / Nintendo 3DS) comes out on October 13th in North America, and October 16th in Europe.
