Nintendo to attend GamesCom this year

GamesCom is, by far, the biggest video game-related event in Europe. Therefore, most of the big publishers and companies are attending each year, which of course includes Nintendo. But it hasn’t always been the case, as Nintendo did skip GamesCom a couple of times: the last one was in 2012, the year the Wii U was launched (the company preferred to focus on its own Mall tours across Europe).

Good news for European fans: Nintendo will attend GamesCom this year, along with several other big publishers which have already confirmed their attendance:

– Bandai Namco
– Bethesda
– CI Games
– Cloud Imperium Games
– Crytek, Deep Silver (Koch Media)
– ELECTRONIC ARTS
– Kalypso Media
– Konami
– Microsoft
– Nintendo
– Oculus
– Rondomedia
– UBISOFT
– V Pro Gaming
– Warner Bros.

Of course, it is way too early to know what Nintendo is going to show this year at GamesCom, but based on the previous years, it’s safe to assume it will be pretty much the same games as E3 (with maybe a couple of Europe-centric surprises).

Sans titre

GamesCom 2015 takes place on August 5-9 (6-9 for everyone), in Cologne.
