[N-Direct] Ever Oasis: some more footage and details

Revealed at E3 2016, Ever Oasis is Grezzo’s new game for the Nintendo 3DS. Some pretty talented people are working on it, including the one and only Koichi Ishii (of Mana fame) and Yoshinori Shizuma. The game takes place in a vast desert, where an oasis can be found. Various people are living in that oasis, many of them selling products made with the very items you gather during your adventure.

As you can imagine, you will get to travel a lot between the desert in the oasis. One of the reasons for your frequent travel is the evil that threatens the very desert. You will go explore various dungeons, and you will not do so on your own. You will be accompanied by two allies, who have their own weapons and skills.

This is a pretty important detail, because certain weapons are strong against specific enemies, and some skills are required to solve puzzles. Therefore, you need to think carefully about who to bring before heading into a dungeon.

Items found in the desert can be used in several ways:

• you can use them for crafting
• you can gift them to travellers, who will then settle in your oasis once they have warmed up to you

The more people live in the Oasis, the bigger it will grow.
