Super Mario Run: latest content updates and events
Just like Miitomo, it looks like Nintendo is planning to regularly add new content to Super Mario Run (only buildings for Kingdom Builder so far), along with events. Therefore, we’re creating this post, in order to gather all content updates and events for the game.
It’s not clear how often Nintendo plans on adding new content and events, but once we’ve figured out the release pattern for it, we will decide whether to make this post monthly, quarterly, etc.
Today, a new event for Super Mario Run (and more specifically the Friendly Run feature) went live.
This second run of the Friendly Run Event is live until March 2nd, and allows you to get Rally Tickets simply by playing Friendly Run during the event. The good news is, you get some whether you win or lose. Playing every day allows you to rack up Rally Tickets like crazy, making sure you never run out of tickets.
You can play only once if you haven’t cleared World 1, three times if you have cleared it World 1, and up to five times if you have cleared World 5.
Today, a special event celebrating the release of Fire Emblem Heroes went live. Since it was released on February 2nd, Nintendo decided to give all Super Mario Run player 2 222 coins as gift (that will be sent to the Gift Box as a single reward). The notification doesn’t specify when the gift will expire.
Today, a new event went live, and will run until February 22nd: “Mega Event! Gold Goombas!” Click here for more details about it.
Today, a new event for Super Mario Run went live.
That event is called Loads of Coins, and it will run until January 26th. During that period, if you win at Toad Rally, then you will get 1.5 times the usual amount of coins. Unfortunately, if you happen to lose, you will still get the usual amount of coins, but at least you will not lose more Toads. Also, do note you need to complete the Kingdom Builder tutorial before being able to take part in this event.
Today, a new event for Super Mario Run (and more specifically the Friendly Run feature added a few days ago) went live.
This Friendly Run Event runs until January 11th, and allows you to get Rally Tickets simply by playing Friendly Run during the event. The good news is, you get some whether you win or lose. Playing every day will allow you to rack up Rally Tickets like crazy, making sure you never run out of tickets.
Today, Nintendo added the following festive buildings (for Kingdom Builder) to the Shop:
- Sparkly Christmas Tree
- Sparkly Snow Globe
Those items will be available until January 5th.
