Inazuma Walker Vol. 01 – Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code – Episode 01, livestream recap

As announced last month, the first proper episode of Inazuma Walker was streamed live today on YouTube and NicoNico. If you missed it, the full recording is now available on YouTube!

Unfortunately, nothing really new was revealed during this livestream, other than the first episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code, that you will find below.

In the previous episode, it was confirmed that Ootani Tsukushi (Aurelia Dingle, a female character from Inazuma Eleven 2) would appear in the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime series. At the beginning of the livestream, her new design was revealed:

 After that, there was a reminder about the character contest (click here for more details).

During the following segment, fans were asked to vote for the team they wanted to see in the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime series. In the end, it’s the Mikage Sennou team that was chosen, and will therefore be back in the new anime series.

 After that, some special guests arrived, and they all watched the 13th episode of the original Inazuma Eleven anime series together.

During the following segment, they took a look at the Top 5 favorite special moves (from fans):

1. Koutei Penguin 2gou / Emperor Penguin No. 2
2. God Hand
3. Goal Zurashi / Moving Goal
4. Ganymede Proton
5. Eternal Blizzard

 The next segment was called Goto’s Kitchen, and during that one, Goto showed how to scout three specific characters in Inazuma Eleven 1 – 2 – 3: The Legend of Mamoru Endo (the compilation on Nintendo 3DS):

• Ootani Tsukushi (Aurelia Dingle)
• Fudo Akio (Caleb Stonewall)
• Fubuki Shiro (Shawn Froste)

And before the first episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code, a retrospective of the Fubuki Brothers from the Inazuma Eleven anime series was shown.

And finally, what everyone had been waiting for… the first episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code, “Shirou and Atsuya”!

Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code is a series of anime shorts, which will get a brand new episode in each Inazuma Walker livestream. This one was focused on the Fubuki Brothers, and revealed some surprising details:

• Fubuki Shirou has a different personality. In the original, he lost his brother at a young age, but that’s not the case here;
• the Fubuki Brothers are not twins anymore: in order to have a Senpai/Kouhai relationship within the team, Fubuki Atsuya was made one year younger than his brother;
• a mysterious girl is a member of the Hakuren team;
• Somoeka Ryuugo (Kevin Dragonfly, originally from Raimon) appears as a support member in the Haruken team.

The keyword for the second episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code is… Ohisama En, the orphage from Inazuma Eleven 2. It will be shown during the second episode of the Inazuma Walker webshow, to be livestreamed on December 9th.
