Yoshi’s Woolly World: screenshots and artworks for the amiibo patterns

Earlier today, Nintendo uploaded a new CGI video for Yoshi’s Woolly World. It showcases a feature that was confirmed at the beginning of the month: the regular amiibo allow you to unlock various patterns for Yoshi. Nintendo didn’t give the full list of amiibo compatible, but confirmed that over 40 of them could be used (with the exception of the Pokémon amiibo).

If you use a Yoshi amiibo, you can get access to several features:

– Yarn Yoshi amiibo: you will be able to save a Yoshi pattern, but also summon a second Yarn Yoshi to help you in the levels;
– Yoshi amiibo (Super Mario Bros. or Super Smash Bros. series): you will be able to summon a second (regular) Yoshi to help you in the levels;

Here’s some screenshots for the special amiibo patterns for Yoshi:

Here’s some of artworks for those patterns:

Yoshi’s Woolly World (Wii U) comes out on June 26th in Europe, and later this year in Japan and North America.
