Wii U: Nintendo 64 / DS Virtual Console launched, more Wii games coming to the eShop

Today, Nintendo launched the first Nintendo DS games on the Virtual Console service, and announced the following games:

– Mario Kart DS (8.99£ / 9.99€) [available today in Europe, coming soon to North America]
– WarioWare Touched! (8.99£ / 9.99€) [available today in Europe, coming out on April 9th in North America]
– Yoshi’s Island DS [available today in North America and coming out in May in Europe]

The following Nintendo 64 games were announced:

– Super Mario 64 (8.99£ / 9.99€, upgrade for 1.79£ / 1.99€) [available today in Europe and North America]
– Donkey Kong 64 (8.99£ / 9.99€, upgrade for 1.79£ / 1.99€) [available today in Europe, and coming out on April 16th in North America]
– Paper Mario (8.99£ / 9.99€, upgrade for 1.79£ / 1.99€) [coming out in May in Europe].

What’s more, European players got a special discount: if they buy three of the following games before April 16th, they get the fourth one for free!

– Mario Kart DS (8.99£ / 9.99€)
– WarioWare Touched! (8.99£ / 9.99€)
– Super Mario 64 (8.99£ / 9.99€, upgrade for 1.79£ / 1.99€)

Nintendo also gave the release date for two Wii games coming soon to the Wii U eShop in Europe:

– Pandora’s Tower (April 16th)
– Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies (April 30th)

Both those games will only cost 13.49£ / 14.99% for one week, at launch. Normal price is 17.99£ / 19.99€.
