Mirror Defense (Tyana Pass) Drop Table Changes:

We have made the following changes to Mirror Defense’s drop table to make each rotation feel more rewarding by increasing your chance of earning Citrine, Corufell, Steflos, and the new Arcanes.

  • Rotation A:
    • Replaced the 3,000 Credits Cache and some Endo chance with Neo Relics.
  • Rotation B:
    • Decreased the drop chance of Neo Relics.
    • Increased the drop chance of Corufell and Steflos parts, Primary Plated Round and Secondary Kinship.
  • Rotation C:
    • Decreased the drop chance of Axi Relics.

Visit the Public Drop Tables for the updated values.

  • Slash Dash cast by Excalibur Specters and Excalibur Umbra will now target enemies instead of dashing at random (which would send them sailing 50 meters across the map).

  • Made slight changes to Citrine’s noble animation set FX timing. Also adjusted left arm movement.

  • Fixed the “Metamorphic Magazine” Gorgon Augment Mod’s petrify effect not triggering for Clients with multishot (requiring them to take 20 shots no matter how many hits per shot are generated).
  • Fixed Corpus Shield Drones shielding Teshin’s Specter in The War Within Quest.
  • Fixed the Teshin Specter in The War Within Quest falling off the map and getting stuck in the stairs in the “Track Teshin” stage on Jupiter.
    • Also fixes the extraction triggering early in that stage due to him despawning.

Warframe – Ver. 32.3 (Citrine’s Last Wish)

  • Release date: February 15th 2023 (North America, Europe) / February 16th 2023 (Japan)
  • File size: 3.2GB
  • Patch notes:

Gaze upon the Crystal Bastion. Citrine’s crystalline might supports allies on the battlefield. Combat only enhances her fractal beauty.

Citrine grants nearby allies health regeneration over time. Pick up a Health Orb to increase the amount of health regeneration (up to 25 per second)!

Slash and stagger enemies with a crystal blast that inflicts Bleed. Enemies afflicted with this Status Effect have an increased chance of dropping Health and Energy Orbs.

*Fractured Blast is Citrine’s Helminth Ability at 50% strength.

Citrine guards herself and nearby allies with a crystalline shell that gradually decays. Kills and assists increase the defensive power of the shell.

Deploy a gem that shoots prismatic beams. The gem targets enemies that are taking weapon damage from Citrine and her allies. Its beams inflict Heat, Cold, Toxin, and Electricity Status Effects. Status Chance and Status Duration increase for nearby allies.

*Prismatic Gem is Citrine’s Railjack ability – can be used to deploy a gem via the Tactical Menu.

Citrine summons crystal fractals. The fractals rush forward, seeking enemies. Enemies touched by the fractals are paralyzed by crystalline growths. Hit the growths to deal increased damage.

In lieu of the Leverian, you can dig up Citrine’s precious origins by visiting Otak in the Necralisk on Deimos (after completing the Heart of Deimos Quest) and by playing the new Tyana Pass Node on Mars. Her Prex Card can also be obtained from Otak in his special “Unearth Citrine” Offerings.

Citrine can be purchased from the in-game Market, or by earning her Blueprints either from the rotation rewards from the new Tyana Pass Node on Mars and/or by trading with Otak in the Necralisk.

The crystalline interior shimmers like a fire from within.

An energy projectile bursts forth from the Steflos and grows as it rushes toward enemies. The projectile’s duration increases when it hits an enemy. When Citrine fires the Steflos, its projectile speed increases.

The Steflos can be purchased from the in-game Market or by earning its Blueprint and Components from the rotation rewards in the new Tyana Pass Node on Mars and/or by trading with Otak in the Necralisk.

Heavy attacks briefly transform the Corufell into a Gunblade. After the shotgun fires, the Corufell returns to its Heavy Scythe state. Its transformation is fastest in Citrine’s hands.

The Corufell can be purchased from the in-game Market or by earning its Blueprint and Components from the rotation rewards in the new Tyana Pass Node on Mars and/or by trading with Otak in the Necralisk.

Become a harbinger of death. This skin features some special shader work to accommodate for the shiny, iridescent look of his hardened carapace.

The skin comes with the custom Deluxe Noble and Agile Animation Sets and the Rhino Deathwatch Wings Auxiliary attachment to add/remove his wings as desired. Listen closely and you may hear the faintest fluttering of wings

Available for purchase via the in-game Market.

Adorn Ember in the morphic material created during the Zariman Void Jump. This collection includes the Ember Voidshell Skin and Phenareus Bark material structure.

Available for purchase via the in-game Market.

Take your Drifter customization to the next level with Visage Ink! Purchase and select from a wide range of designs that can be customized to your liking via the new “Visage Ink” option under “Features”.

The following Visage Ink Collections can be purchased via the in-game Market. Each Visage Ink can also be purchased separately. These bundles will only be visible to players that have completed The New War Quest.

Seize fractal power. This pack includes the Citrine Warframe, Steflos and Corufell weapons, Alumeti Sugatra, Citrine’s Kalite Helmet, Belric and Rania Reunited Decoration, and Citrine’s Sigil*. Interact with the Belric and Rania Reunited in your Orbiter for a truly remarkable glimmer of these ill-fated companions.

The Citrine Collection can be purchased via the in-game Market. Gifting the Crystal Bastion Collection will also award you with an additional Belric and Rania Reunited Decoration! *Citrine’s Sigil and the Belric and Rania Reunited Decoration are exclusive to the Crystal Bastion Collection.

Forever crystallized by the Warframe Citrine, Belric and Rania reside at either end of a tunnel etched through the Void. Apart but eternally intertwined, their preserved bodies maintain this perplexing link between Mars and Venus. But the Void draws in many curious and dangerous minds to it, threatening the very entities holding it together. TYANA PASS on Mars is the access point, travel to it and defend the remains of Belric and Rania.

How To Unlock Node: Complete the Heart of Deimos Quest.

What To Expect:

The fundamentals of this MIRROR DEFENSE are the same as your typical Defense mission: protect a Defense Target against an onslaught of enemies seeking to destroy it, but with a twist. In order to successfully complete a round of Mirror Defense, you are required to protect RANIA’S CRYSTAL remains that reside on Mars, and then proceed through the Void Tunnel to Venus (with the return of the nostalgic Xini tile!) to defend BELRIC’S CRYSTAL on the other side.

Their resting places are not self-regenerating, so additional protection from the Grineer and Corpus threat can be earned by collecting CITRINE’S REMNANTS — vestiges of her act to crystalize the two lovers. Use your parkour skills to pick up the required 50x of her Remnants, and you’ll replenish Health and grant Overshields at full Health to the Crystal you are currently defending. Doing so also awakens the PRISMATIC WARD, a weapon remnant of their protector Citrine that hovers above the Belric and Rania Crystals and blasts enemies targeted by your weapons  with prismatic force.

Citrine’s Remnants pick-ups are shared squad-wide, so squadmates can safely divide and conquer objectives as a team! You can continue to collect Remnants after Reinforcing your Crystal to earn more rewards for your entire squad. Keep an ear out for a soft ringing if you can’t see the tell-tale sparkle, or utilize Loot Detector mods to see where and when they spawn! Killing foes will encourage more of Citrine’s Remnants to be revealed.

In lieu of Defense Waves, players must protect both Crystals for 2 1/2 minutes each to complete one rotation (i.e. 5 minutes total of active Defense). Doing so earns you a guaranteed reward of Belric and Rania Fragments*, in addition to rewards from the mission drop table.

* We’ll go into more detail about this New Resource and how it is used further below!

This node is also available on the Steel Path.

Rotation Rewards:

  • Citrine’s Main and Components Blueprints
  • Steflos Blueprint, Barrel, Receiver, & Stock
  • Corufell Blueprint, Barrel, Receiver, & Handle
  • New Arcanes: *Stats are shown at Rank 5
    • Arcane Steadfast (Warframe) – On Ability Cast: 20% chance the next three abilities will not cost energy.
    • Arcane Double Back (Warframe) – Gain +25% damage resistance for 4s per Dodge, Double Jump and Bullet Jump. Stacks up to 3x.
    • Primary Plated Round (Primary) – On reload: Deal increased damage per round loaded based on max magazine size. Lasts for 10s.
    • Secondary Encumber (Secondary) – On Status Effect: +24% chance to trigger a second random Status Effect.
    • Secondary Kinship (Secondary) – While Buffing Ally Warframes +20% Critical Chance per buff.

Visit the official public drop tables for more information. Note that Mirror Defense will not apply to the ‘Defense’ Nightwave Act as its Waves are different from a typical defense mission, and would take far longer than a regular Defense mission to complete.

New Resources: Belric & Rania Fragments

Bits of the past, fragments of the crystal masses in which Belric and Rania reside. There are two ways to earn these new resources via the Mirror Defense mission:

1. Guaranteed rotation reward: Successfully defending both Belric and Rania counts as one round and will reward 5x Belric Fragments and 5x Rania Fragments.

2. Collecting Citrine’s Remnants: Collecting the required amount of Citrine’s Remnants in Mirror Defense earns you either 5x Belric or Rania Fragments (alternating back and forth) and 7   on the Steel Path version of the node.

Players can continue to collect Citrine’s Remnants even if they’ve completed this objective for their current wave of Mirror Defense!

These new resources can be traded at Otak in the Necralisk on Deimos for the Mirror Defense rotation rewards listed above, and for additional goods such as Critrine’s Prex Card and the Citrine’s Last Wish Factory Captura Scene!

New Codex Entries:
Scanning the Crystalized Belric and Rania Defense Targets in Mirror Defense will unlock new Codex Entries for an additional lore nugget. Upon unlocking the Belric Crystal and Rania Crystal in the Codex, they can be found in the ‘Objects’ category.

Elevate your Arsenal with these new Warframe Augments for Revenant, Yareli, Gyre, and Gara!

PLEASE NOTE: The following changes to Tauforged Archon Shard probability will officially begin at the weekly Archon Hunt reset on Monday, February 20th @ 00:00 UTC (7:00 PM ET)  to not interfere with the current active Hunt.

We have tweaked the Archon Hunt reward system to increase the odds of receiving a Tauforged Archon Shard if not received after a successful hunt. Each player has their own probability per Shard based on their individual Hunt activity.

Each time a specific Tauforged Archon Shard (Amber, Azure, Crimson) is not your reward from completing an Archon Hunt (i.e. you received a regular Amber, Azure, or Crimson Archon Shard), your chance to receive a Tauforged Shard of that variant increases in the next respective Hunt.

The base probability is 20% and increases by 20% (up to 100%) for each Hunt that does not reward that specific Tauforged Shard. The probability resets back to 20% once that Tauforged Shard variant is rewarded. Earning a Tauforged Shard does not alter the probability to receive Tauforged of other variants. The chance % is indicated via the Archon Hunt Navigation panel for the Shard color that is currently available.

Here is an example of how several weeks could play out:
(This is not a reflection of the current/upcoming Archon Hunt rotations)

Week 1: Archon Nira is active with a 20% chance of a Tauforged Amber Shard. Completing the Hunt does not reward Tauforged, your chance increases by 20% to earn a Tauforged Amber Shard the next time Archon Nira is active.

Week 2: Archon Boreal is active with a 20% chance of a Tauforged Azure Shard. Completing the Hunt does not reward Tauforged, your chance increases by 20% to earn a Tauforged Azure Shard for the next time Archon Boreal is active.

Week 3: Archon Amar is active with a 20% chance of a Tauforged Crimson Shard. Completing the Hunt does not reward Tauforged, your chance increases by 20% to earn a Tauforged Crimson Shard for the next time Archon Amar is active.

Week 4: Archon Nira is active with a 40% chance of a Tauforged Amber Shard. Completing the Hunt rewards Tauforged – huzzah! Your chance resets to 20% for the next time Archon Nira is active.

Week 5: Archon Boreal is active with a 40% chance of a Tauforged Azure Shard. Completing the Hunt does not reward Tauforged, your chance increases by 20% to a total of a 60% chance to earn a Tauforged Azure Shard for the next time Archon Boreal is active.

Rinse and repeat!

Tauforged Archon Shards are hotly pursued items, understandably so! We made this change to create a healthy reward cycle and expectation for the players interacting with the Archon Shard system and putting in the effort to play through Archon Hunts. Thank you for your patience while we worked on a solution to improve access to the Tauforged Shards.

New Dojo Room & Decorations: Grineer Galleon Chamber

Themed after the Grineer Galleon tileset, a new Grineer Galleon Chamber room and close to 90 decorations are here!

Cold Status Effect Changes:

Cold Damage has traditionally been one of the lesser-used and valued Status Effects within the community, as its effect on foes may not be as noticeable compared to its peers. As a result, we’ve decided to to make the following changes:

  • Increased base Slow from 25% to 50%.
  • Max stacks reduced from from 10 to 8.

Final result of the above is an overall increase in the Max Slow from 70% to 85%.

Cloth Improvements:

We softened cloth to reduce the jaggedness that could result from motion causing the fabric to bend, so cloth will now appear more smooth.

We also fixed one-frame jitter/stuttering on cloth in motion, specifically when rotating around quickly. This was most noticeable with the cloth on the Drifter Vest and Sleeves where a small “snapping” could occur on rotation.

Sun Bounce Lighting Changes

As a continuation of the changes we made to lighting in the Echoes of the Zariman update, we have made improvements to allow reflections intensity to better match the lighting environment. In other words, indirect light from the sun and sky now uses the color of its surroundings to bounce light around, making it much more realistic and dynamic with time of day changes! These changes have been applied to all Open Landscapes and Towns, Railjack levels, and the Vor’s Prize Quest.

These changes may be applied in other Warframe areas in the future, but for now we’re testing the waters with environments that will see the most benefit from a more realistic light application!

Nintendo Switch Specific Notes:

  • Relay/Town instances for Nintendo Switch players now have a max cap of 50 players, regardless of Cross-Platform Play settings.
    • This is all thanks to performance improvements to consoles Relays/Towns when they are full.
  • Optimized hotfix download for Nintendo Switch.
  • More fixes towards progress not showing when holding the input button down.
    • For example: When attempting to abort from the elevator in a Zariman mission using the console.
  • Fixed Nintendo Switch players being unable to Host or join cross-platform play Void Storm missions due to Host/Client data mismatch error.
  • Fixed the Sirocco showing the wrong button callout for the charged shot on reload.
    • It is now using the intended “Y” button!
  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur after leaving or Host migrating from Railjack missions.
  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur on closing the game.
  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur when a Client is in Conclave.

 General Additions:

  • Added Archon Shards Filter in the “Sort By” in the Arsenal to sort your Warframes by which have Archon Shards equipped.
  • Added a new react animation to several Grineer and Corpus units when Warframes vanish in front of them (using Abilities or other mechanics).
    • This also applies to their Narmer variants.
  • Added an “Infused ability removed successfully” popup after removing an Infused ability at Helminth.
  • Added motion blur to the grass in the Zariman.

General Changes:

  • Gara’s Splinter Storm now receives bonus damage from destroying Mass Vitrify with Shattered Lash from both inside and outside of the ring.
    • Previously, only shattering from the outside of Mass Vitrify would benefit Splinter Storm if within range. Now you can weave in and out and shatter all the same. A nice QOL change to make this synergy between all of the abilities far more convenient.
  • Increased the pickup range of the time-increasing particles in the Granum Void.
    • With its former pickup range, you had to basically be exactly aligned with the particles in order to pick them up. The difficulty to collect was also exacerbated by them dropping high off the ground, requiring even more precision while jumping. The slight increase to the pick-up range makes grabbing these more forgiving, while ensuring players still need to seek them out to earn the time bonus! We’ll be monitoring these changes to see if further tweaks to pick-up range need to be made.
  • Improved the accuracy of line of sight checks in rare cases.
    • Previously, line of sight (LOS) checks weren’t as reliable as they should be and in some rare cases would fail seemingly at random. In other words, casting an ability that has intended LOS requirements to affect enemies was occasionally inconsistent. For example, Mag’s Pull could fail to pull all enemies within range when too many enemies were collected directly in the LOS, which confused it for a surface that should block LOS. These scenarios should now better identify when LOS checks should be successful.
      • Note that this change will affect regular gameplay, but this issue will still persist in the Simulacrum.
  • The Steel Path Honors store now has a limit of 25 per week for each of the 10,000 Kuva and the Relic Pack offerings.
    • We have made this change to Teshins store as it is an unlimited source of Kuva and Void Relics in-game. We took a careful look at Steel Path and decided this would be the best method to ensure a small handful of players couldn’t buy absurdly large quantities of these resources at once, without making changes that would affect all Players on the Steel Path.
  • Changed Synth Charge’s bonus damage on final shot applying to the Tenet Plinx’s and the Azima’s alt-fire.
    • Synth Charge is only intended to apply to the last shot in a weapons magazine, but the Alt-fire on both the Tenet Plinx and the Azima were receiving the damage bonus from Synth Charge on the entire magazine. Synth Charge should only apply to the final shot in a magazine of multiple rounds, and not to the entire magazine being dispelled in one shot.
  • Players who were affected by the bug of “being unable to earn the Emergent tier on a purchased Protovyre Armor if the Apex tier has already been achieved on another set” that was fixed in Hotfix 32.0.1, will have an inbox message on login to give the missing Protovyre items.
    • Apologies for the delay! This account update required more time to sort out the specifics on the backend to get players their missing items.
  • Vendors with weekly offerings (such as Palladino, Chipper, Teshin, etc.) will now reset those items on Monday at 0:00 UTC/7:00 PM ET to be in sync with all the other reset timers.
    • Palladino used to reset on Thursday at 0:00 UTC/7:00 PM ET, but will now reset on Monday at 0:00 UTC/7:00 PM ET.
    • Chipper and Teshin was set to time of purchase + one week, but will now reset on Monday at 0:00 UTC/7:00 PM ET.
  • Changed Wisp’s Breach Surge to apply multiplier before the cap to fix the Ability resulting in billions of damage.
    • Currently: adds 100 damage up to 5m cap, then multiplies by multiplier * Power Strength
    • New: add 100 damage * multiplier * power strength up to 5m cap
  • Replaced the “Stun Deacons” (“Stun 5 Deacons using the Veilbreaker”) Challenge from the “Junk Run” Break Narmer mission with a “Kill X Enemies” Challenge.
    • This change will only apply (for the next mission) for those that have beat the current mission after the update going live. For players that beat “Sneaky Sabotage” before the Hotfix, they will still have the “Stun Deacons” challenge when their next mission on weekly reset is “Junk Run.”
    • We have also added the “Kill X Enemies” challenge to the other two Break Narmer Missions (Prison Break and Sneaky Sabotage.)
  • The other 50% of the Affinity gained from Parazon Mercy Kill will now go to the weapon you had equipped before the Parazon Mercy Kill started.
    • Prior to this change, only 50% of the Affinity gained benefitted the Warframe while the other 50% was not assigned to anything else. Now 100% of the Affinity is distributed, 50% to the Warframe and 50% to the weapon you had equipped before the Mercy Kill.
  • Valkyr’s Prolonged Paralysis stun duration now causes a knockdown on affected enemies instead of a standing stun.
    • In the Lua’s Prey Update, we re-worked the Prolonged Paralysis Augment Mod so that pull distance didn’t scale with Ability Strength, and the enemies were stunned standing instead of a grounded stun. We thought players would prefer standing finishers due to synergies with other Arcanes and modifiers, but in response to feedback, we are changing it back to a knockdown for grounded finishers outputting raw damage.
  • Improved the responsiveness dismounting from K-Drive, Merulina, Archwing and Dargyn.  \
    • Meleeing to dismount now occurs right when hitting the button, instead of on release.
    • Holding to dismount will now occur when the brief hold timer is up, instead of on button release after holding for the required duration (specific to Dargyn).
    • Dismounting a vehicle no longer requires holding the Context Action button if the “Reload with Context Action Input” option under binding settings is toggled off.
    • Changed some mission types to display information related to your mission success in the end of mission screen.
  • This change applies to the following mission types:
    • Defense
    • Survival
    • Excavation
      • Previously a small icon would display which wave you reached, the amount of time survived, or the amount of Excavators successfully defended for these missions. This icon wasn’t always clear in terms of what it indicated, and it appeared in rewards despite not being one. Adding this information to the top of the end of mission screen should make this more clear.
  • A “Purchase Limit Reached” tag will now appear over items once their purchase limit has been reached (ex: Archimedeaon Yonta’s 1 x Voidplume type per trade rotation) instead of the item disappearing from the list after purchasing.
  • Platinum UI Improvements:
    • Added “Personal Platinum” amount to the on-hover description for Platinum in the UI.
      • “Personal Platinum” can be won through official Warframe giveaways and cannot be used for trading or gifting.
      • The error message when attempting to gift using “Personal Platinum” will now indicate that you must purchase additional regular Platinum.
      • The on-hover Platinum description now indicates interacting with the icon will open the Platinum store.
  • Removed the “Starting Energy” stat that was added in Hotfix 32.2.9 and merged it with the existing “Energy” tooltip.
    • Also fixed incorrect calculation of Mod upgrade to Energy drain, which resulted in incorrect calculation of Energy players receive on spawn.
  • Umbra now uses Secondary weapon if the last weapon before Transference is the Secondary or if the Primary weapon runs out of ammo.
    • Running out of ammo on the Secondary will also switch back to Primary.
    • Meleeing behavior remains the same: always attack in melee range, but otherwise prioritize following the player even if it means not attacking at all.
  • Necramechs can now be healed by Vazarin’s Protective Sling.
    • When we launched Orphix Venom: Update 29.6 , we removed a few ways that Necramechs could be unintentionally healed to keep it consistent with other healing abilities not affecting the Necramech, especially for Orphix Venom. On revisiting at Vazarin’s Protective Sling, we now feel that it should have the functionality to heal Necramechs for some added synergy between Operators and Necramechs.
  • Bundles in the in-game Market will now display the total price for multiple items when they can only be purchased in bulk.
    • In the past, they would display only the cost of a single unit on the bundle, instead of the quantity that is only available for purchase
    • In this example, you are purchasing 50 Platinum worth of Kavat Genetic Code, instead of displaying 1 x Kavat Genetic Code for 5 platinum.
  • Specters in the “Hold” position will now continue attacking when moving back to their original held position, whenever they are made to move away from it (via enemies, or using movement abilities), instead of casually strolling back.
  • Customizations in the Arsenal are now sorted by name to make item searching easier.
  • We have added a new tag in the in-game Market that will show players the weapons they recently unlocked access to after a successful Mastery Rank test! The tag will be highlighted for a week after completing their Mastery Test, and will be hidden if they have a new Mastery Rank test to complete
  • Updated several stat tool-tip descriptions on hover to clarify and explain in more detail how that stat applies to Warframe and Weapons when applying Mods in the Arsenal.
  • Changed the Somachord autoplay button to look identical on all platforms.
    • This also fixes the issue where the autoplay was not functioning for users on Console when using mouse and keyboard.
  • Adjusted the colors used for the “Hold X to” UI label in-game to help with visibility when using custom UI colors.
  • Fixed “Hold X” UI labels appearing to have partial progress when activating if a similar label appears nearby.
  • Updated the Velocipod’s hitbox to be more accurate to their appearance.
  • Adjust the spacing for some context UI labels in-game.
  • Adjusted how frequently the Helminth discusses their hunger in-game.
  • Improved the fire animation of the Larkspur to better match its audio FX.
  • Improved Shade’s “Ghost” precept to more closely match how the Huras Kubrow’s “Stalk” works:  The activation range is now 24 meters (up from 10 meters), and the precept doesn’t check Line Of Sight anymore.
  • Also decreased the amount of time to re-cloak after disrupting your cloak.
  • Increased the weapon damage bonus from Shade’s “Ambush” augment from 120% to 240%, for 3 seconds when you break out of invisibility.
  • Changed how Enemies throw grenades to ensure they don’t get embedded inside Defense targets.
  • Added a “Random Materials” button in the Arsenal Voidshell Skin customizations menu.
  • Increased Merulina’s Damage Reduction to 90%.

Cross-Platform Play Changes & Fixes:

  • You can now join dedicated Cross-Platform Play Dedicated Conclave Servers on PC!
    • Learn more about dedicated servers here.
  • Changed the error message when inviting someone with an alias that does not exist from “Cannot sync to Warframe database due to no internet connection” to “No online player found with alias X”.
  • Using the /invite command in chat will only send invites to players on your friends list if their alias is used by another player on another platform. If their alias is used on multiple platforms but none of the players are on your friends list, using /invite will still present the option to pick between the two.
    • Previously, all /invite commands would offer you the option to choose which player you want but it is more likely you want to /invite the player on your friends list. We are making this change to reduce that friction. If you saw the other non-friended player online and wanted to send them an invite you can still do so using the Invite Squad Member functionality.
  • An error message will now pop up if you typed the name of someone to invite, but the only online account that was found was yourself: “Player is already in your session.” We are not responsible for any existential crises that may result from this message.
  • Fixed “Recent Players” list not showing numeric suffixes.
  • Fixed Profile and Clan stats from other platforms showing incorrectly.

  • Made systemic micro-optimizations to the network code.
  • Made a micro-optimization to game loading and streaming.
  • Made minor performance optimizations for Towns/Relays.
  • Made small optimizations to UI code.
  • Made micro-optimizations to gameplay scripts.
  • Made systemic micro-optimizations to memory usage for all platforms.
  • Optimized the memory footprint.
  • Optimized the in-game Market UI for players with a very large number of placed decorations.
  • Optimized chat-link parsing to reduce hitches that could occur when tabbing back to a chat window that had many many links you hadn’t yet seen.
  • Reduced memory usage on some targeting ring FX textures, notably Sprag’s Manticore attack.
  • Optimized foliage in the Orb Vallis.
  • Improved responsiveness and stability when quitting the game or aborting an update.
  • Improved performance of the Kulstar and Zymos’ explosion and projectile trail FX (especially with multishot Mods and when used by Mirage’s Hall of Mirrors).
  • Improved performance of the Mutalist Cernos’ Toxin cloud particles.
  • Fixed extensive spot loading during Loadout changes.
  • Fixed FPS dropping considerably when flying in Archwing toward the Catabolic Gutter in the Cambion Drift during an Isolation Vault Bounty.
  • Fixed performance issues due to infinitely picking up ammo when spawning in a Specter with Vacuum and Ammo Mutation Mods equipped. Also fixed the repeating ammo pickup sound FX playing.
  • Made some optimizations to the Warframe Launcher while it is idle.

  • Fixed Sargas Ruk, Lech Kril, Exploiter Orb, Lephantis, Vay Hek, and the Archwing Pursuit Ship not taking damage from single target weapons (only AOE weapons could damage the weak spots).
    • In Hotfix 32.2.5 we had made some temporary fixes to prevent the complete inability to defeat these bosses due to the above issue. The above fix reverts the tweaks that were made to how Bosses operate so that they could be defeated over the holiday break. The following issues from these tweaks are now also fixed:
      • Fixed Secondary mechanics that rely on hitting things are not always triggering.
      • Fixed punch-through letting you hit weak points on the opposite side of a target.
  • Fixed Madurai’s Chained Sling costing more Focus than intended at higher levels.
    • Players that paid the unintentionally inflated price will receive an inbox message refunding the cost difference in Eidolon Shards shortly after the update’s launch.
  • Fixed chat-linked Mod Config’s with Polarized Aura Mods from Mastery Rank 30+
  • Fixed weapons with negative damage values (mainly through Riven Mods providing a negative damage value ie. -50.6% impact) unintentionally doing massive amounts of damage during the Archon fight in Archon Hunts.
  • Fixed the Magus Cloud Arcane removing the ability to ragdoll enemies when using Void Sling.
  • Fixed the Magus Cloud Arcane disabling Vazarin’s Protective Sling.
  • Fixed “On Status Effect” Arcanes not triggering when the ability/attack does 0 damage.
    • For Status Effects to trigger from Warframes and Weapons, the Status Effect can trigger from a hit, but it doesn’t necessarily need to do damage to activate the Status Effect. To honor those damageless Status Effects, Arcanes with ‘On Status Effect’ can now trigger off a hit without a damage instance.
  • Fixed Arcane Blessing stacks not giving Health after Host migration.
  • Fixed Voruna’s Fangs of Raksh not properly spreading Electricity proc damage.
  • Fixed the numerical stats for Voruna’s Shroud of Dynar not changing to red/green when changing the Ability Duration via Mods.
  • Fixed Elemental Damage Mods not combining correctly for Venari (base & Prime) in the Arsenal and when attacking.
  • Fixed the Augur Mod Set bonus (Energy spent on abilities is converted to Shields) giving you Overshields when your current max Shield is 0 after activating the Helminth Parasitic Armor ability (Sacrifice Shields to reinforce Armor for a period of time).
  • Fixed Nyx’s Absorb and Garuda’s Dread Mirror not absorbing damage. As reported here.
  • Fixed the Felarx’s Mounting Momentum buff dissipating or being triggered when reloading your Secondary weapon.
  • Fixed Wisp being able to fire her weapon during Sol Gate when the Helminth ability Empower was cast directly before.
  • Fixed enemies not pausing/unpausing when their time immunity changes (ex: Overguard is removed or added) and they’re inside Limbo’s Rift with stasis active.
  • Fixed an issue where Rhino’s Roar and faction-specific damage mods (ex. Expel Grineer) wouldn’t work while riding a K-Drive or Merulina.
  • Fixed Scourge projectiles swirling around Grendel after casting Feast on enemies affected by its alt fire.
  • Fixed Tenet Ferrox’s and Opticor’s (base and Vandal) primary fire explosions not dealing damage to enemies right next to the target (within 4 meters for the Tenet Ferrox and 6 for the Opticor).
  • Fixed the Afentis’ alt-fire not pinning or stunning nearby enemies.
  • Fixed the Javlok’s guaranteed Impact proc from alt-fire not applying to the enemy directly hit and only affecting nearby enemies.
  • Fixed being able to gain infinite Health via Health Orbs while riding Merulina with Arcane Blessing equipped.
  • Fixed Client losing ability to use Transference if they used Transference while their Warframe is being held by the Ropalolyst.
  • Fixed out-of-sight enemies targeted by Ash’s Seeking Shuriken Augment Mod not having their armor stripped.
  • Fixed Zephyr’s own Tornadoes ragdolling her when affected by Radiation proc.
  • Fixed Yareli’s Aquablades Slash damage numbers not appearing on enemies trapped in Riptide.
  • Fixed spamming Yareli’s Riptide on an enemy potentially causing them to appear stuck in their recovery animation.
  • Fixed issues with the hand position animations on Rifles when using Voruna’s Noble Animation set.
  • Fixed Yareli’s Riptide spawning directly next to her instead of where you are aiming while Vazarin Guardian Shell is active.
  • Fixed backing out of renaming Railjack causing a blank screen.
  • Fixed Grendel’s Feast sound FX not playing when cast while in Pulverize.
  • Fixed being able to fall through the map in Grendel’s Pulverize when a Kuva Lich uses their slam attack.
  • Fixed Kuva Liches being unable to properly throw Grendel while he is in Pulverize form.
  • Fixed Inaros’ Scarab Swarm HUD buff showing too many numbers after the decimal point.
  • Fixed crazy long decimal in the damage reflection percentage stat for the Reflex Denial Hound Precept Mod.
  • Fixed long decimals appearing in the slow-motion settings in Captura.
  • Fixed crazy long decimals appearing in the Hacking Rate % in Railjack Corpus POIs and in the Data Gathered % during the Profit Taker fight.
  • Fixed Reinforcement Beacons in the Orb Vallis being indestructible if the enemy placing it is affected by Revenant’s Thrall.
  • Fixed Styanax’s Rally Point buff end FX appearing in 2D on players that aren’t buffed.
  • Fixed the Gladiator Mods equipped on Garuda Prime not applying its set Critical Chance bonus to her Prime Talons.
    •  Gladiator Mods apply to Garuda Prime Talons because they are not an exalted weapon, and don’t interact with other melee mods on their regular melee weapon. The Garuda Prime Talons are similar to Titania’s Diwata in this case, which is why the Gladiator set bonus doesn’t apply to Excalibur’s Exalted Blade and Valkyr’s Talons.
  • Fixed Garuda’s custom HUD for her passive shifting to the middle of the screen after entering a loading tunnel (ex: Zariman elevator).
  • Fixed Spearguns thrown at Profit Taker or the Exploiter Orb scaling up to massive sizes.
  • Fixed Spearguns (held in Warframes hand) reverting to their compact/stored state after being thrown.
  • Fixed Stropha not adding to Combo Counter when attacking ragdolling enemies.
  • Fixed Beacons not working if you start a Zariman mission via the elevator instead of Navigation.
  • Fixed Acolyte spawns stopping indefinitely in the Steel Path if a Host Migration happens at the same moment one spawns or while one is alive.
  • Fixed the Parazon Mercy Kill Health threshold UI indicator showing over Overguard if you hit an enemy with enough Impact procs (which was confusing since you cannot Mercy Kill enemies with Overguard active).
  • Fixes towards mining veins spawning inside of rocks, making them inaccessible.
  • Fixed selecting a non-Railjack mission via the Event, Quest, Alert, etc. tabs not loading in if the Railjack Navigation is active.
    • Selecting these missions while in Railjack Navigation will now switch back to the default Navigation to start the mission.
  • Fixed duplicate Nightwave Weekly Acts appearing in the same rotation. As reported here
  •  Fixed being able to select Operator/Drifter skin colors from general color palettes by selecting the “All Colors” option.
    • As a reminder from when we released the Refacia Kit, our desire is to maintain a lore-driven feature that fits within the ecosystem of Warframe for all to enjoy. The “All Colors” option being selectable was not intended and allowed access to colors that aren’t lore appropriate.
  • Fixed the Prelude to War Codex screen opening when selecting the Quest guide tab in Navigation for a different Quest.
  • Fixed the red circle FX showing up on grenades thrown by friendly NPCs. The red is designated for grenades thrown by enemies, not our pals.
  • Fixed multiple issues with entering a mission  with no Melee weapon equipped and then using an Exalted Melee weapon:
    • Fixed being able to Parazon Mercy Kill with an invisible weapon (normally disabled when you have no melee weapon).
    • Fixed Parazon Mercy Kills being disabled.
    • Fixed cooperative emotes (like handshakes) being disabled.
  • Fixed issues with the Pox’s lingering smoke FX.
  • Fixed placement issues with the Tenet Ferrox’s FX.
  • Fixed the blood FX from Nagantaka’s projectiles not taking on custom energy color.
  • Fixed extremely bright FX when using the Concealed Explosives Mod on throwing Secondary weapons.
  • Fixed the “Show UI in Screenshot” toggle in the Interface Options not working.
  • Fixed cases of the Host being stuck in the vote screen on the Profit-Taker boss fight if their squadmates reject the mission.
  • Fixed being stuck in a loading screen when the Host forces a mission vote while a Client is in menus until said Clientleaves the squad.
  • Fixed Host force starting a mission while a Client is joining a squad with a slow connection causing the Client to get permanently stuck in an End of Mission screen.
  • Fixed Clients with slower internet connections getting stuck on the End of Mission screen after Host force starts a follow-up mission.
  • Fixed Hosts with slower internet connections dropping squad members when loading into Deck 12 for the Exploiter Orb boss fight.
  • Fixed Client and Host getting stuck being unable to open the main menu and return to Dojo after Host initiates a return to Dojo countdown from Railjack.
  • Fixed Client with slow internet connection speeds getting stuck behind in mission (regular, open landscape, and Railjack) if Host aborts and loads into their next mission before the Client gets to the end of mission screen.
  • Fixed players who have completed The New War Quest being able to matchmake with and bring players who have not completed the Quest into the post-New War open landscapes.
  • Fixed Moas killed by camera traps not counting towards “Kill 20 Narmer Moas” in the  “Sneaky Sabotage” Break Narmer mission.
  • Fixed kills for the “Made for This” Break Narmer challenge counting twice.
  • Fixed being stuck on the End of Mission screen after failing a Railjack mission.
  • Fixed more than usual NPCs overlapping each other in the Relay when returning from a Railjack mission.
  • Fixed quick weapon switching with the Phenmor in Incarnon Mode causing weapons to remain holstered while Warframe animates invisible weapons as if they were being held.
  • Fixed the last Excavator exploding automatically in the Orb Vallis Excavation Bounty.
  • Fixed the Okuri Tails Ephemera ignoring the second energy color if the primary energy colour wasn’t selected.
    • With this fix, we changed how all attachments react to energy color selection. Now, primary energy color can inherit the secondary energy color if only that one is selected (same to how Warframes do).
  • Fixed the Okuri Tails Ephemera reverting to default colors after Mirage’s Eclipse expires.
  • Fixed issues with placing and interacting with the Baruuk Prime Mandala Decoration.
  • Fixed the Scylla Syandana having some clipping issues with some Warframe skins.
  • Fixed texture scaling issue on the Frost Voidshell Skin. They now match the textures on the body better.
  • Fixed the Drifter’s feet being off screen in their Clothing Appearance screen.
  • Fixed Voidshell Material Structures appearing on non-Voidshell Skins when previewing them in the Arsenal.
  • Fixed pistols with the Protokol Tekna Skin not animating during reload.
  • Fixed the magazine on a pistol with the Protokol Vekesk Pistol Skin equipped disappearing after the second reload.
  • Fixed the Kukri Prime Armor’s FX color reverting to default when in Navigation.
    • Also fixed the FX disappearing entirely in the Syndicate management and login screens.
  • Fixed selected decoration floating off screen while rotating it if surface snapping is enabled.
  • Fixed Polychrome lighting changes affecting neighboring rooms in the Dojo.
    • Some lights in Dojo rooms have such a large radius that they would extend into adjacent rooms. When searching for lights to apply Polychrome colors to, the lighting system would find all lights in the room, but this was also including lights from neighboring rooms. Now it will only include lights whose primary zone is in the room with the Polychrome. It is however still possible for the lights to “leak out” into other rooms, but only when the doors are open (which makes sense!).
  • Fixed the Distilling Extractor Prime and Titan Extractor Prime having “Blueprint” in their name in the Foundry.
  • Fixed becoming stuck in a turret previously controlled by Railjack Crew.
  • Fixed the sprinting animation locking while holding the sprint button, making the Warframe appear as if they are gliding.
  • Fixed completing multiple Conservation captures immediately one after another (ex: from a group of Pobbers) causing the animation for future captures and Archwing Blink to not play.
  • Fixed the Revenant Specter in the Mask of the Revenant Quest cycling between all kinds of animations (other than his intended death animation) after defeating him in combat.
  • Fixed being unable to interact with your pets in the Dormizone. Time for scritches!
  • Fixed Companions not teleporting with the player during the first phase of the Archon Hunt Assassination.
  • Fixed instances of enemies getting stuck spinning in circles on the spot.

AI Changes & Fixes:

  • Specters, Wukong’s Twin, and Excalibur Umbra will no longer attempt to reload when they have no ammo to do so. Instead an ammo icon will now appear above their head once they have depleted the ammo pool of all weapons to indicate that they are needing ammo pickups.
    • Since Wukong’s Twin and Excalibur Umbra share ammo pools with you, once they run out of ammo they will actively search for pickups nearby. But you can also help them do so in the following ways:
        • Grabbing ammo pickups yourself to add to the shared pool.
        • Using Squad Ammo Restores to add to the shared pool (must be in range of the Restore, as AI do not receive ammo if they are in range but you are not).
      • Specters do not share ammo pools with you, so once they run out of ammo they will actively search for pickups nearby. You can also assist with the use of Squad Ammo Restores.

    • Hot Tip: Unspent Mod capacity increases how much Energy you have at the start of missions.
    • Harrow will always show 100% Energy filled thanks to his passive.

  • Changed extraction in Survival missions so that when Life Support is depleted and a player is at extraction a 1 minute countdown begins to extract all active players in the mission.
    • This is to prevent players getting left behind in an undesirable mission state after the Host leaves the mission and migrates.
  • Changed the Baza Prime Blueprint Ducat value from 100 to 65 to match its Uncommon rarity in the Axi S13 Relic. As originally stated in the PSA
  • Wishlisted items in the in-game Market are now sorted by newest.

  • Tooltips for Warframe stats in the Arsenal will now replace mentions of “Energy” with “Shield” for Hildryn and “Health” for Garuda (where applicable).

  • Removed the Arsenal and Mods consoles in the Relay Drydock.
    • This was causing multiple issues, and unnecessary since the Arsenal and Mods can be accessed via pause menu.

Conjunction Survival Changes & Fixes:

  • Fixed Lua Thrax and Sentient enemies not scaling in Conjunction Survival missions.
  • Fixed transmission issues in Conjunction Survival missions.

  • Fixed hitches that would occur if someone pasted a Riven link in chat.

Console Specific Note:

  • Fixed other options in the background being selected while viewing Platinum in the in-game Market.

  • Fixes towards Sargas Ruk, Lech Kril, Exploiter Orb, Lephantis, Vay Hek, and the Archwing Pursuit Ship not taking damage from single target weapons (only AOE weapons could damage the weak spots).
    • It is important to note that these are temporary fixes to prevent the complete inability to defeat these bosses due to the above issue. A code fix is required to address the issue which we are unable to release before the holiday break. So in the meantime, seeing as progstops are a top priority, we had to make some necessary tweaks to how these Bosses operate so that they could be defeated. These tweaks are temporary for the holiday break and will be reverted in a future update to bring these Bosses back to their original mechanics:
      • Vay Hek now takes damage everywhere and doesn’t rely on the weak point mechanic during his drone phase.
      • You can shoot any of the Exploiter Orb’s three vents, but still only deplete a maximum of one third of the Orb’s Health per phase.
    • There are also some issues with this workaround that will be fixed with the future revert:
      • Secondary mechanics that rely on hitting things are not always triggering.
      • Punch-through lets you hit weak points on the opposite side of a target.
  • Fixed quickly swapping between the Phenmor (Incarnon Mode) and Secondary weapon  leaving the player locked in the equipping animation.
  • Fixed Garuda’s Blood Forge Augment Mod not refilling the ammo of Battery Weapons.
  • Battery Weapons will now have their ammo charged to full instantly when Bloodletting is cast.
  • Fixed Eximus enemies not dropping Health and Energy Orbs in Sanctuary Onslaught missions.
  • Fixed Eximus enemies not contributing towards the Efficiency score in Sanctuary Onslaught missions.
  • Fixed embedded Tenet Ferrox after a throw expiring earlier than intended.
  • Fixed enemy spawns at times not occurring in the Sover Strait Railjack node.
  • Fixed Grendel’s Pulverize ball being smaller than intended with the Voidshell Skin equipped.
  • Fixed the Lotus’ Amaga Skin having squished face/lips in transmissions.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when a player leaves your squad with a different Glyph selected.
  • Fixed limited time holiday items that are coupon discounted in the in-game Market showing 0 Platinum in the UI.
    • This was a UI issue in the item’s Market page, the confirmation screen did indicate the correct Platinum amount that would be used to purchase the items. However, if you purchased a holiday item with a coupon while this issue was live (Friday, Dec 9th to this Hotfix) you may send in a ticket to for a purchase revert (remove the items from your account and restore the consumed Platinum).
  • Fixed Incarnon Weapons losing their crosshair when flying around in Archwing in open landscape areas.
  • Fixed the Vort, Glazio, Talyn, and Laith series of Railjack weapons showing as “Common” in the UI when they are “Uncommon/Rare”.
    • This also fixed issues when trying to Valence Fusing a higher tier Railjack weapon into a lower tier one.
  • Fixed the Akbolto Prime’s projectiles not inheriting emissive colors.
  • Fixed some Festive Dojo decorations not appearing.
    • These will now remain permanent fixtures in the Dojo decoration menu.
    • Also fixed duplicates of the Holiday decorations appearing in the menu.
  • Fixed a default Excalibur appearing alongside you when extracting with the Skaut during Quest replays.
  • Fixed the dangling bit of the Narvarr Prime Leg Plates floating when equipped on the Garuda Tengushin Skin.

  • Fixed Focus School selection not being respected when quickly swapping between Drifter and Operator.
  • Fixed placeholder text appearing in the “Additional Platinum Needed to Rush” popup.
  • Fixed opening chat linked Mods/Looks causing overlap with the End of Mission UI.
  • Fixed the Syndicate UI header lingering on screen after leaving the “Change Pledge” screen.
  • Fixed inconsistencies of the “owned” tag over the purchase button in the in-game Market when an item is on sale.
  • More fixes towards the in-game Market UI not accounting for the price of each individual Warframe Slot in the Complete Starter Slot Bundle.
  • Fixed the Winter Glyph Pack IV’s in-game Market diorama being too bright/not matching the layout of the other Glyph Packs.
  • Fixed rare occurrence of the in-game Market item dioramas resetting after purchase.
  • Fixed script error related to doing damage to anything that isn’t a weapon.

  • Release date: December 7th 2022 (North America, Europe) / December 8th 2022 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:

Voruna’s Ulfrun Descent Changes:
After one week of Lua’s Prey being in your hands and reading your feedback, we have a few changes to Voruna’s 4th ability, Ulfrun’s Descent. The majority of Voruna’s feedback has been centered around this ability and its damage output, with the desire to make it feel more deadly. Below is our first take on bumping up the ferocity and opening up more synergy with her kit. We will continue to review Voruna’s feedback –  we have a few more things we’re experimenting with!

  • The Perigale sniper rifle can now trigger the Gale Force buff on headshot kills. It also still triggers if you get 4 non-lethal headshot hits in the same burst.

  • Added an “Arcanes” shortcut in the pause menu under “Equipment” while in Relays and Open Landscape towns.
  • Added a pop-up warning when attempting to sell a Warframe that has Archon Shards equipped.

  • The Complete Starter Slot Bundle is back! Expand your Arsenal with 2x Warframe Slots, 2x Weapon Slots, and 2x Companion Slots.
    • Yesterday, we took down the bundle shortly after the launch of Lua’s Prey as there was an issue with the UI not accounting for the price of each individual Warframe Slot (incorrectly showing that 2x Warframe Slots costs 20 Platinum, which is the the cost of 1). So we have fixed that issue across the board, and have re-enabled the Bundle to be purchased in the in-game Market.

Warframe – Ver. 32.2.0 (Lua’s Prey Update)

  • Release date: November 30th 2022 (North America, Europe) / December 1st 2022 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:

Lua rumbles. The Void exposes old scars and revives forgotten secrets. Smelling possible treasure, the Grineer have descended upon these newly exposed halls, only to be instantly Corrupted by its long-dormant Orokin Neural Sentry.

Conjunction Survival Requirement: The War Within Quest complete.
Optional But Recommended: Equip Necramech Summon to Gear Wheel.

What to Expect:
Lua has expanded with the newest inclusion of the Yuvarium (enemy level 25-30) and Circulus (enemy level 80-100) nodes featuring a new Survival mission variant called Conjunction Survival.

The fundamentals of a Conjunction Survival mission are the same as other Survival missions: maintain Life Support by triggering Life Support Towers and procuring Life Support Capsules dropped by slain enemies. However, additional gameplay mechanics add a new layer of difficulty and variety, fit only for the ancient halls of Lua stirred by the Void.

Upon triggering the alarms, a Lone Guardian begins to make their way to the Life Support Towers throughout Lua. They are at the center of an area null of all colors that follows their every move. Entering the area grants players 100% Ability Strength and a 50% Casting Speed buff for 5 seconds (as long as you remain in the bubble, the duration refreshes).

A new tile within both Yuvarium and Circulus can be found for Tenno that seek it out. Those who have heard the tale of Voruna from her Leverian may feel a familiar presence here.

Rotation Rewards

  • New Resource: Lua Thrax Plasm (see below for more info)
  • Voruna Blueprints
  • Sarofang Blueprint, Blade, and Handle
  • Perigale Blueprint, Barrel, Receiver, and Stock
  • New Arcanes: *Stats shown at Rank 5.
    • Arcane Rise (Warframe) – On Reload: 60% chance for +150% Damage to Primary Weapons for 24s.
    • Arcane Blessing (Warframe) – On Health Pickup: +24 Health. Stacks up to 50x.
    • Primary Frostbite (Primary)  – On Cold Status Effect: Increase +3% Critical Damage and +2.25% Multishot for 12s. Stacks up to 40x.
    • Conjunction Voltage (Secondary) – On Electricity Status Effect: Increase +1.5% Reload Speed and +3% Multishot for 12s. Stacks up to 40x.

Visit the official public drop tables for more information.

New Thrax Variants
These enemies spawn in these nodes and increase the depletion of Life Support by 50% of the regular rate while they are alive. Defeat all Thrax threats to remove this added pressure on Life Support! Two Thrax enemies spawn by default, but they are also affected by the number of players in the squad (+1 spawn for each squadmate).

Hollow Thrax Centurion: Armed with a Hespar, these lesser Thrax manifestations are unable to take incorporeal form, but remain deadly opponents.

Hollow Thrax Legatus: Armed with an Aeolak, these lesser Thrax manifestations are unable to take incorporeal form, but remain deadly opponents.

Lua Thrax Legatus: Armed with an Aeolak, the origin of these ghostly interlopers is a mystery, but the Void Conjunction is surely at its root. The Lua Thrax Legatus spawns on the base Circulus and Steel Path Yuvarium nodes for an added layer of difficulty.

This is where your Necramech comes in handy! Summon your Necramech to remove the Thrax threat, or continue to take them head-on. In Conjunction Survival, Necramechs have a 2 minute lifespan while active and a 10 minute cooldown on redeployment. Use at your own discretion!

Corrupted Drahk Masters and their bloodthirsty Corrupted Drahks are also on the hunt in these nodes.

New Resource: Lua Thrax Plasm
A unique variant of Thrax Plasm harvested during Void Conjunctions on Lua (guaranteed Lua Thrax Plasm rotation reward on both Yuvarium and Circulus nodes) and 30% chance for 1x to drop from new Thrax variants.

Rotation Rewards are as follows:
3 Lua Thrax Plasm on Yuvarium
5 Lua Thrax Plasm on Circulus
5 Lua Thrax Plasm on Steel Path Yuvarium
6 Lua Thrax Plasm on Steel Path Circulus

This resource is used to craft Voruna’s components, and her Sarofang and Perigale signature Weapons.
Lua Thrax Plasm can also be traded at Archimedean Yonta in the Chrysalith for the rotation rewards listed above (Voruna Blueprints, Sarofang Blueprint, Perigale Blueprint, and New Arcanes).

Four beasts, one heart. Voruna’s loyal wolf pack makes for a deadly combination of strength and stealth. Beware the monstrous howl that heralds fangs of vengeance.

Voruna and her accompanying wolf heads were named by the community thanks to the incredible generosity of the Tenno during the Quest to Conquer Cancer.

The Leverian also has a new entry, Tenno! Allow Drusus to tell you more about Voruna, the “She-Wolf Incarnadine”. Explore her gallery to also find and add her Prex Card to your collection.

You can also rewatch the Lua’s Prey login cinematic in her Leverian.

Voruna’s Leverian Murals are also available to purchase in the in-game Market. Pick up an elegant portrait of Dynar, Lycath, Raksh, and Ulfrun.

Voruna never fights alone. In mission, hold Abilities to call upon each wolf’s unique Passive power. Players can swap between Passives without Energy cost for all unlocked Abilities. The active passive visible in Voruna’s custom HUD:

Voruna Helminth Interaction:

  • Replacing one of Voruna’s abilities via Helminth will remove the option to use its respective Passive on Voruna.

(TAP) Dynar shrouds Voruna with invisibility and accelerates her speed. Invisibility ends when Voruna attacks. For a short time after a melee attack lands, melee attacks have increased Critical Damage and Status Chance and inflict Bleed. Melee kill an enemy during this time to extend the melee buff.

(HOLD) Dynar guards Voruna, increasing her Parkour Velocity.

*This is Voruna’s Railjack ability – can be used to cloak allies via the Tactical Menu.

(TAP) Raksh’s fangs tear into your enemies. 5 random Status Effects are applied at 10 Stacks each on an enemy. On target’s death, spread the Status Effects to other nearby enemies.

(HOLD) Raksh guards Voruna with Status Effect resistance.

(TAP) Lycath hunts to sustain the pack. Enemies killed by melee attacks drop Health orbs and enemies killed by headshots drop Energy orbs. Increase the duration of Lycath’s hunt by killing enemies affected by 5 or more Status Effects.

(HOLD) Lycath guards Voruna with increased Heavy Attack efficiency.

*This is Voruna’s Helminth ability with diminished efficiency: Instead of a guaranteed drop of Health orbs on melee and Energy Orbs on headshot kills, it is a 50% chance. The passive is also removed.

(TAP) Voruna drops to all fours and prepares 5 brutal charges that lock onto enemies. Ulfrun, the most powerful wolf, leads the attack as Voruna dashes toward her target. The pack deals increased damage to targets and nearby enemies that are inflicted by Status Effects. Lethal attacks double the damage of Voruna’s remaining charges.

(HOLD) Ulfrun guards Voruna. If Voruna falls during this time, Ulfrun dies in her place.

Voruna is available for purchase in the in-game Market or earn her blueprint and components from the new Lua Conjunction Survival Nodes: Yuvarium and Circulus. They can also be earned by trading Lua Thrax Plasm with Archimedean Yonta in the Chrysalith. Visit the official public drop tables for more information.

Two new Tenet weapons have arrived!

Tenet Plinx
Alternate fire on this reengineered Plinx fires a projectile that pulls enemies close and then explodes. Its cooldown increases after the explosion to accommodate battery power demands.

The Tenet Plinx is available in the pool of weapons offered by Sisters of Parvos.

Tenet Ferrox
The expert engineers in Parvos Granum’s division have optimized the Ferrox’s lethal power.

The Tenet Ferrox is available from Ergo Glast’s shop in the Relays.

Nora ain’t done mixing up the System just yet – Nora’s Mix Vol. 3 is here!

Similar to Vol. 2, Nora’s Mix Vol. 3 will continue to sustain our design goals for Nightwave! We feel that Nightwave is in a great place for new players and continuing players alike. You can read more about our Nightwave philosophy in our post from earlier this year!

Like previous editions of Nightwave, we will be including duplicate protection for rewards that you have already unlocked. Identical to Nora’s Mix Vol. 2, Tenno can expect to be compensated with Nora’s Mix Vol. 3 Creds instead of the previous unlocked reward.

  • Protokol Tekna Pistol Skin: An ancient look for a reliable pistol.
    • The Protokol Pistols Skins are designed and intended for single pistol Secondaries, to stay true to their historical origins.

Sytanax’s Alt Helmets will appear periodically throughout Nora’s Mix Vol. 3 in the Cred Offerings.

Grendel is in new form with this update, and not just in his usual Pulverized rotundness. The following changes are intended to make his kit far more comprehensible and dynamic. We revisited the nuances of his abilities and their synergies, simplified them, and made them more situationally viable across the board. Overall, Grendel’s rework has given him more ways to feast on, fight, and flatten anyone that stands in his way!

Upon login, an inbox message will greet you with 1 x Built Forma for you to experiment and have fun with the Grendel changes.

  • Increased Armor gained from each enemy alive in Grendel’s Gut from 50 to 250.

  • Added a new HUD indicator to show the number of enemies and their Health in Grendel’s Gut. The Armor that he gains from enemies thanks to his passive is now also visible here.
  • Removed the 1.5/s Energy drain while enemies are in Grendel’s Gut.
  • Replaced the Armor Reduction with 2% of their total Shields and Health overtime (does not scale).
    • Health and Shields are more universally applicable, making Nourish affect enemies across a wider range of types.
  • Unified Radius for all ranks (25m for all).
  • Enemy auras are now disabled while inside Grendel’s Gut.
    • For example, after clearing an Ancient Healer Eximus’ Overguard, casting Feast on it will nullify its damage reduction buff while inside Grendel’s Gut.
  • Grendel can now cast Feast on enemies that are open to a Mercy kill.
  • Sentient enemies caught in Grendel’s Gut with Feast are no longer automatically expelled after 8 seconds.
  • Grendel can now Feast a maximum of 5 enemies at a time.
    • With the above buffs to Feast, the previous 40 enemy max would understandably be far too overpowered. The new cap allows players to make the most of Feast’s more powerful state and keep them actively seeking enemies to chomp on without clearing the whole map in one go.

Gourmand Augment Mod Change:
Was: Instead of Energy, consumes 200 Health on cast and 30 Health drain.
Now: Instead of Energy, consumes 200 Health on cast. Gourmand grants an additional 150 Armor (up to 400) per enemy.

  • Removed the “cycle to select + hold to cast” feature for Nourish’s buffs. Now, Nourish grants the following buffs to Grendel and allies within range on a single cast (with some exceptions).
    • (Previously holding to cast) Nourish’s healing effects no longer scales with enemy Health, but instead now heals Grendel 1000 Health on each cast.
    • (Previously Nourished Energy) Grendel and buffed allies are granted 2x Energy from all sources (scales with Ability Strength Mods).
    • (Previously Nourished Armor) Grendel and buffed allies explode radial Viral damage (2 second cooldown, independent for each player) when enemies attack Grendel in a 12m radius (at max rank).  100% Viral Status and staggers enemies.
    • (Previously Nourished Strike) Grendel and allies are granted Viral damage to their weapons.
  • Added a “Gut Empty” error when attempting to cast Nourish without any enemies in Grendel’s Gut.
    • For Helminth versions of this ability, other Warframes will still be able to use Nourish without the consumed enemies requirement.
  • Nourish Helminth Ability Changes:
    • Prior to this update, the Nourished Energy buff was omitted when injected on other Warframes. Now, the new 2x Energy from Orbs buff applies.
    • The healing effects are not transferred over when injected on other Warframes and the Viral damage is limited to one stack.

Hearty Nourishment Augment Mod Change:
Was: Clear status and gain 2s of Status Immunity for each victim in Grendel’s stomach.
Now: Clear status and gain 5s of Status Immunity for each victim in Grendel’s stomach.

  • Moved to the 3rd ability slot.
    • We felt Pulverize didn’t suit the “ultimate” status we’ve prescribed for other Warframes. So instead, we buffed Regurgitate to bring it up to the level we expect for a 4th ability slot.
  • Grendel no longer needs to have enemies in his Gut to cast Pulverize.
    • Worth noting that even if there are enemies in his Gut, there is no longer an energy-per-second drain tied to them as per the changes made to Feast.
  • Reduced the drain on an empty Gut from 10 Energy/s to 3 Energy/s.
  • Feast, Nourish, and Regurgitate can now be cast while in Pulverize.
  • Added a 50% Armor Reduction (at max rank) to enemies struck by Pulverize (scales with Ability Strength Mods).
  • Removed the Enemy Level multiplier from the total Impact Damage scaling.
    • New formula:  Total Impact Damage = [Impact Base Damage + (Number of Enemies Stored≤10 × 350)] × (1 + Ability Strength)
  • Grendel will now heal 200 Health/s for 5 seconds after Pulverize is cast, and then decay to half its starting value over the next 5 seconds (scales with Ability Strength Mods).
  • Pulverize can now strike tileset breakables (crates, resource deposits, etc.).
  • Made several movement improvements:
    • Improved general control over Pulverize’s movement.
    • Improved movement went traversing slopes to make it smoother.
    • Momentum is now maintained on cast in and out.
    • Stairs can now be climbed while in Pulverize.
    • Sprint can now be used to go faster but at the cost of control over movement.
  • Grendel’s Pulverize form now takes on player customized colors and Voidshell Material Structure customizations if you own the Grendel Voidshell Skin.

Catapult Augment Mod Change:
Was: Launch Grendel in your aim direction. Costs 10 Energy.
Now: Launch Grendel in your aim direction. Costs 5 Energy. Crouch to slow down.

  • Moved to the 4th ability slot.
  • Added guaranteed Toxin Status Effect.
  • Added 75% Armor Reduction on Regurgitated enemies (scalable with Ability Strength Mods).
  • Increased Toxin Radius Range from 5m to 6m (at max rank).
    • Added VFX on cast to show the affected radius.
  • Enemies hit by Regurgitated foes are now slowed by 80%, which decays to 0% over time (6 seconds).
  • Changed the total Toxin Damage multiplier from enemy level to total enemy Health %.
  • Added a 50 Energy cost on cast.
  • Added a “Gut Empty” error when attempting to cast Regurgitate without any enemies in Grendel’s Gut.

Grendel Fixes:

  • Fixed some hard edges on Grendel’s hand trail FX.
  • Fixed Grendel losing all momentum in Regurgitate when jumping with no forward movement input.
  • Fixed Grendel being able to Feast on Eidolon Lures.

Ride the wave, Tenno! Yareli has leveled up her water bending skills and increased her survivability with the following changes.

  • Added a 1 second delay before the Critical Flow buff ends after Yareli stops moving.

Sea Snares

  • Enemies captured in Sea Snares now have 200% Damage Vulnerability from all other sources (similar to Nezha’s Blazing Chakram).
    • Enemies that are immune to Crowd Control (Eximus with remaining Overguard for example) will not be impacted by Sea Snares’ immobilizing effect (as intended), but will still be affected with Damage Vulnerability if caught by the ability. Sea Snares’ bubble effects will still circulate around  Crowd-Control-immune enemies to indicate that they are being affected by its Damage Vulnerability (and its other damaging effects).
  • Increased the seek radius range of Yareli’s Sea Snares from 4m to 10m.

  • For the first 4 seconds after casting, Merulina will gain Health instead of losing it when being attacked, similarly to how Iron Skin functions. Additionally, Yareli will be temporarily invulnerable during the damage absorption.
  • Merulina will persist with your Warframe when transferring to and from Operator.
    • Also enabled this for all other K-Drives and Warframes during Transference.

  • Riptide can now be cast in different ways for different effects:
    • Tap to create a Riptide water tornado that pulls in nearby enemies.
      • Upon expiry of the ability, or when recasting while Riptide is still active,  the existing Riptide will explode.
    • Press and hold to create a Riptide that automatically pulls enemies in and explodes them out (how it used to work before above changes).
  • 2 seconds after casting, Riptide’s suction range now defaults to 5m (non-scaling).
    • Similar to how Nezha’s Divine Spears impales and slams enemies in two separate actions, Riptide now pulls in enemies first and explodes in the next.

Yareli Fixes:

  • Fixed Yareli going invisible during the Archon struggle animation in Archon Hunts if she is riding Merulina when the Archon grabs her.
    • Once the interaction begins, Yareli will be dismounted from Merulina to struggle against the Archon.
  • Fixed loss of function after hacking a panel while riding Merulina and then using Transference.
  • Fixed Yareli Specter not using any abilities (apart from Merulina as intended).

In the Veilbreaker and Nora’s Mix Vol 1 updates, we buffed a number of underused Warframe Augments (from Ash to Oberon). This third and final batch of buffs tackles Warframe Augments from Saryn to Zephyr. We have increased their viability in missions, which we hope will encourage more build diversity.

*Stats below are all at Max Rank.

Revealing Spores

  • Was: Infected enemies within 40m will show up on the Minimap.
  • Changes:
    • The 40m radius now properly (scales with Ability Range).

Spellbound Harvest

  • Was: Hitting at least 4 enemies with Spellbind will grant Titania 50 Energy.
  • Changes:
    • Successfully hitting at least 4 enemies also adds 40% more range on the next cast of Spellbind.

Beguiling Lantern

  • Was: Attracted enemies take 100% more melee damage.
  • Changes:
    • The 100% damage bonus now applies to all weapons (including Titania’s Dex Pixia and Diwata) and scales with Ability Strength.

Pool of Life

  • Was: On death, marked enemies will drop 4 Health Orbs with a 25% chance of dropping an Energy Orb.
  • Changes:
  • Energy Orbs now have a 100% chance of dropping. This amount can still scale with Ability Strength to potentially produce multiple Orbs.

Prolonged Paralysis

  • Was: Affected enemies are pulled towards Valkyr and the stun duration is increased by 200%.
  • Changes:
  • The pull strength now scales with distance from Valkyr – meaning enemies are now pulled close to Valkyr instead of colliding or flying past her.
  • Stunned enemies will now remain standing instead of getting knocked down so that they are opened up to standing finishers.

Swing Line

  • Was: After using Rip Line, the next 4 Rip Lines will have no energy cost while airborne.
  • Changes:
  • Added +20% Parkour Velocity.

Photon Repeater

  • Was: If Photon Strike hits at least 5 enemies, the next cast will cost no Energy.
  • Changes:
  • After successfully hitting at least 5 enemies, the next cast will fire a second strike.

Shocking Speed

  • Was: Enemies touched while sprinting under the effects of speed will take 175 electrical damage with guaranteed Status Effect.
  • Changes:
  • Exposed the radius range stat (3m) and made it scale with Ability Range.
  • Increased Electricity Damage to 300.

Transistor Shield

  • Was: Allies can pick up Electric Shield. 300% of damage absorbed will be added to Volt’s Static Discharge.
  • Changes:
  • More than one ally can now pick up an Electric Shield. Previously, if a second ally picked up a Shield, the first would be forcibly dropped. Now, everyone in the squad can carry around a Shield simultaneously.
  • Volt can now cast more Electric Shields while carrying one. This change applies to the base ability as well!

Critical Surge

  • Was: Teleporting to a Reservoir costs 50% Energy and grants 10% Critical Chance to Sniper Rifles per meter traveled for 9s. Maximum of 350% Critical Chance.
  • Changes:
  • The bonus 10% Critical Chance now applies to all Primary weapons.
  • Reduced the 350% Critical Chance maximum to 250% now that all primary weapons have the buff applied.

Enveloping Cloud

  • Was: Allies within 4m of the cloud become invisible to enemies for 14s.
  • Changes:
  • Changed the invisibility applied to no longer make allies visible when they make noise. They will now remain invisible for the full duration regardless of noise.

The Relentless Lost

  • Was: Casting The Lost increases Ability Strength for The Lost by 35%. The bonus can stack up to 3x and resets if you cast the same ability twice.
  • Changes:
  • Each stack also increases Ability Efficiency for The Lost by 15% up to 45%.
  • Clarified in description: Casting the same ability back-to-back resets the effect.

Target Fixation

  • Was: Each enemy hit increases Tail Wind Damage by 100%. Damage resets upon being on ground for 2s.
  • Changes:
  • Casting Tail Wind (Tap and Hold) now resets Zephyr’s double/bullet jump – making it easier to stay airborne!
  • Bullet jumping now also overrides the velocity of Tail Wind – so you can more precisely control your direction after flight.

Airburst Rounds

  • Was: Each enemy hit by Airburst increases secondary damage by 25% for 14s.
  • Changes:
  • Increased damage to 40% (max still 500%).

While reviewing the stats of some weapons with a semi-automatic mode, we noticed that certain weapons had an unsustainably high fire rate for most players. We adjusted the stats of the following semi-automatic weapons whose maximum potential was only being reached with the use of macros (to learn more about third-party use in Warframe visit our support article). Since not everyone is an avid macro user (within the boundaries allowed), we lowered fire rates to a more humanly achievable level and improved their damage or reload stats to compensate.

The following Eximus changes are a follow up to their rework, Eximus Reborn, that launched in Update 31.5: Angels of the Zariman. In that update, Eximus saw an improvement to their mechanic readability and were given consistent Heath/Energy Orbs drops and guaranteed ammo drops. Ultimately these changes made them a clear priority objective and turned them from a threat into an opportunity for players seeking those useful drops. Since then, we have identified where Eximus units are requiring some more tweaks in light of the previous rework: Spawn Logic and Base Health.

Eximus Spawn Logic Changes:
After the rework, we found that Eximus spawns were at times, too unreliable. In some missions, Eximus would not spawn until the 5 minute mark; in others, these enemies would appear earlier and with increasing frequency. While there will still be some variations in-place due to mission type and level, we want to rectify some inconsistencies for the appearance rates of these foes.

  • Unified the overall Eximus spawn experience across missions by changing their minimum spawn time down to 60 seconds, and unified the ramp up of spawn rates across all game modes.
  • Increased Eximus spawn chance by 20% across all game modes.
    • The overall increase of spawn chance was made in an effort to make encounters with Eximus more consistent and reliable. This is quite a large encompassing change, so we look forward to your constructive feedback!

Eximus Base Health Changes:
The introduction of Overguard on Eximus units was introduced as a means to make them feel more formidable and encourage concentrated firepower. We did, however, find that once an Eximus’ Overguard protection was removed, they didn’t survive long after. Which ultimately made Mercy kills difficult to obtain since they were dying before the opportunity could present itself. That said, to improve the chances of a Mercy kill along with also maintaining Eximus as a threat after their Overguard is removed we did the following:

  • Increased a portion of their base Health so that they have a bigger Health pool (Overguard remains unchanged, Health only).
    • It is difficult to provide an exact global percent increase since different units scale in different ways, but you should expect to see them have around 30% more total Health.
  • Increased Health threshold for Mercy kills on Eximus.
    • Before they needed to be below 40% Health to be Mercy killed, now that is doubled, so under 80% Health is enough to Mercy kill them.

The sections below highlight quality of life changes that have been made in this update to improve player experience!

HUD Improvements:
The following changes have been made to better communicate an enemy’s state to players via HUD improvements.

  • Elemental Damage Resistance Icons (Soft Launch): These new icons help indicate when Elemental Damage resistances are active on enemies. For each active resistance, the corresponding icon will now appear to the right of the enemy’s Health bar.
    • Since this new feature is still in its infancy stages, the following enemies are the only ones that currently use these new icons: Infested Alad V, Hyekka Masters, Hyena Pack, and Sentients.
    • Resistance from armor/health types (e.g. Ferrite Armor) are not included as it would clutter the UI too much.
  • Added a new Armor icon indicator next to enemy Health bars in the HUD.
    • This new icon not only better indicates that an enemy has Armor protection (in addition to their Health bar being yellow), but more specifically how much Armor they have. The icon changes based on three different thresholds to better communicate Armor values to players:
      • 1-499 Armor: No more than ~60% Damage Reduction from Armor
      • 500-2700 Armor: No more than ~90% Damage Reduction from Armor
      • 2700+: More than 90% Damage Reduction from Armor
    • Additionally, as enemy’s Armor is stripped, the icon’s meter changes at 3 stages:
      • Full = 100% Armor
      • Halfway = 50% Armor
      • Empty = 0% Armor

New Arcane Segment:
Added a new Arcane Segment in your Orbiter to manage your Arcane collection.

Upon login, a waypoint will direct you to its new location between the Mods and Incubator Segments. You may need to do some redecorating as your existing decorations may be obstructing your view of it. For new players, this segment becomes available after getting their first Arcane, a waypoint will flash to direct them to the Segment once they do. The former Arcane button in the Foundry will now direct players to the new Segment.

Players will still be able to access and upgrade their Arcanes in their Arsenal, but this Segment will allow for an extensive look at what Arcanes they have across all equipment types!

General QOL Changes:

  • Increased Health gained from Orbs from 25 to 50.
    • This applies to the two guaranteed Health Orbs that are dropped from Eximus Units.
    • The empowered Health Orbs generated by Protea’s Dispensary remain the same (100 Health per Orb).
    • Lavos’ Transmutation Probe’s Universal Orbs remain the same (25 Health per Orb).
  • The Helminth Archon Shard management screen now shows the ability stats of the equipped Warframe in Helminth’s seat. Hover over the ability icon to get a better idea of how you want to use your Archon Shards. Selecting an Archon Shard upgrade will reflect in the on-hover stats.
  • Earning a Riven via Riven Transmutation will no longer take an inventory slot in your overall Riven count.
    • Veiled Rivens from Transmutations only take a slot in your inventory once equipped on a weapon, following the Riven Capacity changes from Update 32: Veilbreaker.
  • Changed the Void Relic buff message duration from 4 to 7 seconds. Valuable buff information shouldn’t be missed!
  • Added the ability to select a custom binding for “Advanced Mode” decorating in the Controls > Placement menu.

Break Narmer/Kahl’s Garrison Changes & Fixes:

  • New Captura Scenes are available for Stock in Chipper’s Offerings:
    • Veilbreak Forest Scene
    • Veilbreak Murex Scene
    • Veilbreak Factory Scene
  • Changed the “Defeat Ven’kra Tel/Sprag” Challenges to be part of the randomized Break Narmer challenge pool instead of expected for their respective missions.
    • Prior to this change, they were 100% guaranteed to show up as challenges for their respective missions. After December 5th, they will no longer be forced and will just be added to the random pool of challenges that rotate.
  • Re-enabled Arsenal access in Kahl’s Captura.
    • This was disabled in a past hotfix due to issues with Kahl’s Arsenal. As promised, it has been re-enabled so that you can access your Kahl fashion in Captura.
  • Fixed Kahl’s Kuva Ayanga displaying ammo numbers despite having infinite ammo.

Baruuk – The Reluctant Warrior

Beware the fury of the truly patient. Pushed beyond restraint, a reluctant master unleashes the storm within.

Each projectile dodged, each enemy lulled or disarmed, erodes Baruuk’s restraint and fuels the storm within. As Baruuk’s restraint is diminished he becomes more resistant to damage.

Dodge all incoming projectiles, but only while not attacking. Edge closer to The Brink with each projectile dodge. Use again to deactivate this ability.

A calming wave slows enemies until they fall into a slumber. Enemies woken by damage will be confused and disoriented. Short-term amnesia means all waking enemies forget anything that happened before the lull.

It’s time we equipped some serious floor firepower! All Arch-Guns can be used on the ground – or as we like to call it ‘Atmosphere’ – with the use of a ‘Gravimag’. Gravimag is obtained from Clan Research, as a one-time reward from the Orb Heist Phase 3 Bounty, or can be purchased in the in-game Market. It can be installed on any Arch-Gun (with an Orokin Catalyst installed) via the Upgrade Arsenal – similar to installing a Catalyst.

Comparable to the Archwing and K-Drive Launchers, a respective Gear item known as the Archgun Deployer is required to activate your Atmosphere Arch-Gun. The Archgun Deployer can be obtained by completing the Orb Heist Phase 3 Bounty.

Atmosphere Arch-Gun Specificities:

  • Atmosphere Arch-Gun can be summoned in normal missions with the Archgun Deployer, but once Ammo has been depleted there is a cool-down until you can summon again. The cooldown timer scales based on the remaining Ammo pool upon unequipping. The intent here is to allow you moments of beefy damage output, and not become just another Primary/Secondary weapon.
  • Atmosphere Arch-Guns consume Ammo as opposed to unlimited Ammo/Battery in Archwing. Specifically new Heavy Ammo Drops, which can be found from Corpus enemies in Orb Heist missions. Heavy Ammo Drops also reset the summon cool-down when picked up, or replenish Ammo if needed.
  • Shared Affinity gain applies to Atmosphere Arch-Guns but only while equipped in the main hand.

Nyx & Titania Changes

For a complete deep dive into intent – check out the original Dev Workshop on the official Warframe Forums!

Nyx Changes:

Nyx is the master of psychic manipulation – her abilities are now capable of Debuffing, CC’ing, or dealing damage directly through means of psychic energy and manipulation!

General Change: Nyx’s abilities have received an audio refresh – new sounds have been added to her powers!

  • We have also Lowered Nyx’s Abilities volume for less fatigue while using Abilities repeatedly.

Passive: Nyx’s Passive now causes enemies to miss her more often.

  • Nyx’s last Passive randomly disarmed enemies when hit by powers. Since her revisited kit depends on enemies effectively hitting each other, we changed the passive to simply make her harder to hit.
    • This new passive is deactivated when Nyx is using Absorb, meaning no shot will be wasted!

Mind Control:

  • Mind Control has a 4 second wind up at the start where incoming damage will cause the target’s damage output to increase. The stronger your weaponry, the deadlier the output of your victim!
    • Reminder: All damage inflicted to the target will apply once Nyx deactivates Mind Control, or when the Duration runs out.
  • Better ‘follow Nyx and attack enemies’ AI pass.
  • Mind Control can now be cast while moving, and no longer halts Nyx in her tracks!
  • The cast time for Mind Control has been decreased, so you can better use the 4-second window to ‘power up’ your new minion!

Psychic Bolts:

  • No longer deals any damage but will now temporarily disable Armor & Shield, slow down Infested units, and disable Ancients’ Auras.
  • Psychic Bolts can be cast once on up to 6 targets. Kill these targets before you can cast again, OR hold the ability to reset targets and cast again!

Absorb: What Nyx can do with her ‘Absorb’ now allows for more tactical team play/solo play!

  • Absorb damage type is now based on the damage types it absorbs.
  • A thematic element of ‘manipulating others damage’ has been weaved through Nyx’s Absorb. Absorb now has ‘lingering Absorption’ – Nyx’s Absorb now converts a % of the Absorbed Damage into a self Damage buff when the ability ends for a limited time, dispelled on recast. This means as your teammate or enemies power your Absorb, you can tactically break it for damage/range – and/ or a self-damage buff for Nyx imbued by those around you! This synergizes with Mind Control, allowing more powerful victims, as well as allowing more lethality on Nyx’s weakened and distracted enemies.
  • Nyx Absorb explosion radius increases based on the Damage Absorbed (capped Nyx to 75m max).
  • Added +400% Damage cap to Nyx Absorb Damage buff.

Titania Changes:

General Change: Baseline Energy Capacity increased to hit 225 at Max Rank.

  • The Energy cost for Tribute has been decreased from 50 to 25.
  • Simply getting 1 type of Tribute will be enough to have its maximum power. You can continue to acquire Tributes to refresh the Duration, but you no longer need to build them up.
  • As for the 4 Tribute types:
    • Dust – keep as-is:it reduces enemy accuracy by 50%!
    • Thorns – increase to 50% of damage reflected back to the attacker and increased its range from 10m to 30m!
    • Entangle – keep as-is: one Entangle Tribute slows an enemy by 25% but we increased its range from 10m to 30m!
    • Fullmoon – the 75% damage buff now applies to ALL (Sentinels, Moas, Companions) + Razorwing Butterflies

  • Lantern can be cast up to 4 times at once (new targets replace old). Targets will gradually float back to their starting positions. You will be able to ‘explode’ all targets by holding the Lantern cast.

  • Titania’s Razorflies will now gain Health when Titania kills enemies while in Razorwing!
  • Razorwing has a ‘Vacuum’ built in!
  • Optimized Razorwing’s ability sound.

Harrow Changes:

  • As per feedback, Harrow’s Systems Blueprint has been added as a Rare drop in Rotation B for Defection missions. This means you have 2 chances in the Endless loop to obtain Harrow, not just one at Rotation C. To maintain balance, a Corrupted Mod has moved to Rotation A.
  • Increased Harrow’s Energy gain from his Thurible ability (max ranked now gains 2x as much).
  • Increased Duration of Harrow’s Penance by around 20%.

  • Capped Garuda’s Dread Mirror and Blood Altar dashes to 150m/s max.

  • A max of 2 Nullifier bubbles can be created per Drone.
  • Total active Nullifier bubbles (from all Drones) in the area will not exceed 4 – 10 bubbles (scaling with player count).

    • You can equip up to 100 Pheromone Synthesizer’s in your Gear Wheel!
  • When completing a successful animal Conservation using a Warframe ability, it will yield a ‘Good Capture’, as opposed to sometimes yielding a ‘Perfect Capture’. A successful animal Conservation using the tried-and-true Tranq/Echo-Lure technique was always intended to yield a higher gratitude.
    • Ivara’s Sleep Arrow will however grant a ‘Perfect Capture’ if the shot is a direct hit. The farther off your shot the more distressed the animal gets.
  • The Tranq Rifle is now ‘Silent’! This should ensure you are not startling animals if you miss – it’s only on hit they’ll react.

Controller Fixes:
We have improved controller responsiveness in a number of ways!
We increased controller responsivity in a number of ways:
One major issue addressed in this patch is the fixing of an issue where almost 50% controller input was required before a hip-fire camera manipulation could be executed. We’ve decreased coded deadzones to allow for more refined, precise aiming and removed the inherited velocity when shifting directions. Players should now notice an immediate falloff in camera movement once input is no longer applied to the control sticks.
Additionally, we have added a number of mathematical improvements regarding the ramp and acceleration curves used to interpolate control stick input. This should make the camera manipulations feel much smoother and allow for a closer approximation of circular movement, compared to the very ‘square’ like motions we had previously.
We’ve also increased the amount of vertical movement seen when manipulating the control stick to reduce the amount of asymmetry between it and horizontal movement. There is still a bias towards the horizontal plane, but moving the camera up/down should not feel so drastically different when now compared to left/right movement.

Warframe – Ver. 23.5.0

  • Release date: November 19th 2018 (North America, Europe) / November 20th 2018 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:

Introducing the 36th Warframe, Revenant! Afflicted by Sentient energy, Revenant rises from the shadows to prey on the weak and unwilling.

PASSIVE: Shield depletion smashes nearby enemies with a knockdown shockwave.

Convert a target into a zealous thrall. Thralls turn on their allies and enthrall through damage. On death, they disintegrate into a damaging pillar of energy. The thrall horde remains under Revenants spell until this ability runs out.

Become enveloped in Sentient energy, which redirects damage and stuns all those who dare attack. Stunned enemies can be Enthralled at no energy cost.

Dash through enemies as a wall of Sentient energy, leeching shields and health from any encountered, enhanced for thralls.

Erupt with a multitude of Eidolon energy beams and sweep a circle of death around Revenant. Incoming damage is redirected to the beams. Hold fire to boost range and damage, while also increasing energy consumption. Damage type can adapt to select defenses. Thralls killed by this leave overshield pickups.*
* To invoke a more Sentient theme with Revenant, the last detail to change since past Devstream presentations is his Danse Macabre Damage. Sentients in the wild can often adapt to your attacks…so the damage output of the Danse Macabre now can adapt to certain enemy defenses!
3 special adaptations exist for the damage types of Danse Macabre:
Striking Armor will adapt Danse Macabre into Corrosive Damage.
Striking Shields will adapt Danse Macabre into Magnetic Damage.
Striking Infested Flesh will adapt Danse Macabre into Gas Damage.
This will be at a base 20% Status Chance, amplified by holding the default Left-Mouse Button.

Irradiate enemies with a continuous stream of deadly plasma. Charging secondary fire releases a glob of plasma that erupts with homing bomblets on impact.

A uniquely-style alternate helmet for Revenant.
