UK: video games sales for Week 22, 2016 (May 30 – June 5)

For Week 22, there’s only one game on Nintendo platforms in the All-Format Top 40 for the United Kingdom and it’s… not Fire Emblem Fates, but Yo-kai Watch! Unfortunately, since GFK Chart-track doesn’t provide any public sales data, it’s not clear whether this is due to sales on the rise (thanks to the anime series, or retailers slashing prices), to other games in the Top 40 dealing with a harder drop, or any other reason.

As for Fire Emblem Fates, both versions are already out of the Top 40, and in fact, one of them (Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest) was even outsold by Tomodachi Life. Naturally, the best-seller on Nintendo 3DS is Yo-kai Watch, since it’s the only game on Nintendo platforms to make it to the Top 40 at all. On Wii U, the best-seller is still the New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U!
