UK: video games sales for Week 1, 2016 (Jan. 4 – 9)

For Nintendo, Week 1 of 2016 looks exactly the same as Week 53 of 2015: not a single Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, or even Wii game in the Top 40. It looks like people in the United Kingdom are not more inclined to buy games for those platforms in 2016… Week 1 is usually a pretty slow week for video games sales worldwide, and it certainly was the case in the UK.

On Wii U, the best-selling title is still Splatoon, while Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer just keeps on dominating Software sales on Nintendo 3DS.
