Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost – Ver. 1.13.1

■ Surprise Free Songs Added

This free update adds the following two songs:

・Re:Unknown X (marasy with String Quartet)

A legendary track defining the game’s highest difficulty, “X,” returns in a bold new fully live performance by marasy and a string quartet.

Experience a powerful yet elegant musical performance, now reimagined for rhythm gameplay.

・Independent Simulacrum

The theme song composed by Touhou Project creator ZUN for the indie game showcase event INDIE Live Expo.

Selected at ZUN’s own request during the Original Song Draft Meeting, this track joins DanKagu as a truly special addition. At 5 minutes 48 seconds it becomes the longest track ever featured in the game!

As a boss stage, the track features a special performance starring Reimu Hakurei alongside LEX-kun, an official INDIE Live Expo mascot.

■ Extra Song Pack Vol. 13 Now Available!

Starting today, Extra Song Pack Vol. 13 is now available!

This pack adds 15 new playable tracks, including the original “Tonight Stars an Easygoing Egoist (Live ver.) ~ Egoistic Flowers.”

Vol. 13 features a new original arrangement, “wish,” a powerful, emotional track centered on Marisa Kirisame by RD-Sounds of the Touhou arrangement circle Diao ye zong.

In addition, the popular track “Cirno’s Perfect Math Academy” now supports background video playback during gameplay.

We plan to expand background video playback to more tracks in future updates, so stay tuned!

A Season Pass is also available, allowing you to purchase Extra Song Packs Vol. 13 & 14 together at a discounted price. Don’t miss it!

■New Features

・Added a Change Skin feature to Gallery > Play Stats, allowing you to customize the background.

As the first release, character-themed skins inspired by Marisa and Remilia have been added.

・Added the ability to switch score display between 4KEY and 6KEY in Gallery > Play Stats.

・Added new functions and menus to the Free Mode song selection screen, allowing you to view and change your Favorite Heroine and Favorite Mitama Card.

・Added badge indicators in the Free Mode song selection screen to distinguish “DanKagu Original Tracks,” “Arrange Music Contest Selected Tracks,” & “Base Game Tracks.”

Added new song folders in Free Mode for “DanKagu Original Tracks,” “Arrange Music Contest Selected Tracks,” & “Base Game Tracks.”

■Fixes

・Fixed an issue in Kagura Stage where some Live2D character animations overlapped with the note lanes.

・To address reports of music and notes gradually falling out of sync in certain environments, a new Music Sync ON/OFF option has been added to the settings (default: OFF). If you are experiencing sync issues, please try enabling it.

Thank you for waiting! Extra Song Pack Vol. 12 is now available starting today, adding 10 new tracks, including the original song “Crazy Backup Dancers.”

This pack features the selected tracks from the first-ever arrangement contest for Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost! Selected from over 200 submissions, these fan-arranged tracks bring fresh energy to the game!

Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost – Ver. 1.11.0

No patch notes available. This update brings the following to the game:

  • fixes issue causing save data corruption.
    • Under certain conditions, save data may fail to load correctly the first time the game is launched after updating. When this occurs, a dialog appears on screen stating: “Load failed: An unknown error has occurred” and existing save data cannot be accessed.
      • The issue stems from inconsistencies in save data triggered by either of the following actions:
        • Playing Alice Maestera(REBIRTHED) from Extra Song Pack 9 on ver.1.10.1 or earlier, and then opening Gallery > Play Stats.
        • Playing Alice Maestera(REBIRTHED) from Extra Song Pack 9 on ver.1.10.2.
    • Note: if you’re impacted by this issue, do not select “New Game” when you get the error message telling you the save data cannot be loaded, or said data will be overwritten and lost permanently. Immediately update the game instead.
    • Note: after updating, content related to “Extra Music Pack Vol. 11” (purchased/unpurchased) will be visible ahead of its release. Please note that this content will not be playable until its release date on Oct 30.

How to download updates for Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
