Thumper releasing on May 18th, trailer and additional details

Thumper is a pretty hectic rhythm game, pretty aptly described as a “rhythm violence” game, developed by Drool (a team made of Marc Flury and Brian Gibson). It was launched in October 2016 on other platforms, but it’s now coming to the Nintendo Switch on May 18th. It was listed on the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcases infographic in March, but we finally have proper details about it.

The press release mentions that Thumper on Nintendo Switch features full HD Rumble support, so that players can fully enjoy some incredible “Rumble Violence”. It also gets a bit technical, with the resolution and frame-rate for both the Handheld and TV Mode:

  • Handheld Mode: 720p and 60fps
  • TV: 1080p and 60fps

Thumper will be released on May 18th worldwide (Europe, North America, and even Japan). It will cost 19.99€ . $19.99, and will be playable in many languages: Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italina, Dutch, Russian, Korean, and Chinese. For those who cannot live without the Pro Controller: yes, that controller is supported!
