The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup: Devlog #1, only one physical copy in the world

The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup is a rather unique puzzle game, which is coming soon to the Nintendo eShop (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS). It is being developed by Gory Detail, with some former developers from Rare (Chris Seavor, who worked on Conker’s Bad Fur Day, and Shawn Pile).

Earlier today, NintendoLife uploaded the very first Devlog for the game, with 30 minutes of footage taken from the Early Alpha version (which show some of the basic mechanic, as well as the level editor used to make the levels of the game):

In this Devlog, the developers also explain that The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup will get a retail version, but there will be only one copy for the entire world. To get it, players will have to solve a special puzzle, which will be hidden on the game’s title screen. The developers refused to say more about this, so as not to give away too much (even though the puzzle itself won’t be that easy to crack, according to them).

The developers are also trying to find a way to prevent a person who didn’t legitimately purchase the game from winning this special contest.

The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup will come out on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
