The Oregon Trail will find its way to Nintendo Switch on November 14th

First released on Apple Arcade last year, The Oregon Trail is the official successor of the original edutainment game (first released back in 1971!). And today, Gameloft announced that it will find its way to Nintendo Switch next month, on November 14th to be precise. It will cost $29.99.

To celebrate the new platforms announcement, Gameloft shared a new trailer for the game:

This version of the game includes all 5 content updates previously released on Apple Arcade, which brought the following to the game:

  • more accessibility options
  • additional events
  • visual filters

Here’s some details and some screenshots for the game:

In The Oregon Trail, players are put at the center of all the trials and tribulations of the journey westward. They must stock their wagon, choose their traveling party, and make sure they all arrive safely to Oregon by making tough choices in dangerous and unexpected situations. Players will also learn the real history behind the trail, including the Native American experience, which is a first in the franchise.

The Oregon Trail (Switch – eShop) comes out on November 14th in Europe and North America.
