The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD comes out in three weeks in Europe and North America (Japanese players will have to wait an additional week), and Nintendo is offering us a refresher for the various features of the game via a new trailer. Unsurprisingly, said trailer starts with a graphics comparison between the GameCube version of the game and its HD remaster.
Next, the trailer introduces Wolf Link: he can uses his senses to find clues or people in twilight, but also dig to find secrets, talk to animals, and fight alongside Midna (who helps you navigate through certain areas, too). As for the Wii U features, we have:
- interactive mini-maps
- equip gears and items on the fly
- motion controls for aiming
- Off-TV play
As for Hero Mode, it mirrors the world… and doubles the damage you get from enemies! If you like collectibles, there’s 50 different stamps to find in chests all over Hyrule.
Finally, there’s amiibo:
- Wolf Link amiibo: unlocks the Cave of Shadows
- Link + Toon Link: refills arrows (once per day)
- Ganondorf: x2 damage, stackable with Hero Mode
- Zelda + Sheik: replenish hearts (once per day)
