Switch milestones: Suika Game / The Last Spell / The Outer Worlds / KUUKIYOMI: Consider It! series / Witchy Life Story

Suika Game

Suika Game, the cute and terrifyingly addictive puzzle game, looks simply unstoppable… much to the delight of its creators, Aladdin X. Last week, the company announced that total sales in Japan had reached 2 million units, mere days after the previous milestone was announced (1.4 million units).

And it looks like the “Suika Game Mania” has already reached Europe, North America, and other parts of the world. In order to ride on the incredible popularity of the game, Aladdin X went as far as releasing the game in Japanese only in those two regions, before an update adding more language options (including English) was released shortly after.

And that release was the right move, for the game somehow managed to sell a whopping 1 million units in just a week, bringing total sales worldwide to 3 million units as of October 30th (3,022,196 to be precise)!

Looking at those explosive sales, one cannot help but wonder just how much the game is going to end up selling before the Suika Game Mania settles down. There’s little doubt the game will reach 4 million units sold before the end of the year, at this rate!

The Last Spell

Ishtar Games has announced that has sold over 350 000 units since launch (worldwide, and across all platforms).

The Outer Worlds

Private Division and Obisdian Entertainment have announced that The Outer Worlds has now sold over 5 million units since launch. That number isn’t just the number of people who have played the game (which is effectively higher), but actual sales to customers across all platforms. A great milestone to celebrate the 4th Anniversary!

KUUKIYOMI: Consider It! series

G-Mode has announced that the various games in the KUUKIYOMI: Consider It! series have been played by over 10 million players combined. A remarkable milestone for this series of quirky ‘read the room’ games! Unfortunately, no regional or platform breakdown is provided.

Witchy Life Story

Witchy Life Story was released earlier this month on Nintendo Switch (on October 19th to be precise), and it looks like it’s off to a promising start. Sundew Studios has announced that Day 1 sales on console actually surpassed those on Steam during launch day!
