Super Mario Maker: commercial, Facebook event, pics of the European bundles and amiibo

Facebook event

On July 28th and 29th, a special event called the Super Mario Maker Hackathon will take place at the Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.

During this hackathon, Facebook employees will get to use the Super Mario Maker demo in order to design a level. Then, they will have to show their level to a panel of judges from Nintendo and Facebook, with the winning team or individual getting their creation made available as a free download for everyone.

On July 28th and 29th, Nintendo will share various updates about the event via its usual social media channels. Shortly after the Hackathon, Nintendo will be making a video series documenting it available for fans, on YouTube.
