Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town now XSEED’s fastest-selling game ever with 200 000 units sold, next sets of DLC dated
When it launched in Japan, Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town set a new record for launch week sales with over 200 000 units sold at retail alone in just a few days (unfortunately, sales have since slowed down, in part due to the regrettable state of the game at launch). And it looks like the game is also doing pretty well in North America!
XSEED have announced that Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has now become their best-selling game ever with no less than 200 000 units sold in North America in less than two months. That’s even better than Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, the previous record holder, which needed 3 additional months to reach that milestone! It’s now gone to sell over 250 000 units in North America.
Also, XSEED have announced that the second set of DLC for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town will be released on May 27th in Europe and North America (at 12AM PT / 3AM ET / 8AM BST / 9AM CEST). It’s the Windswept Falls Expansion Pack, which includes a brand new area to explore, but also 4 new characters.

And that’s not all! Marvelous have also announced that Part 1 of the 3rd set of DLC, the ‘School Uniforms’ costume set for the protagonists and marriage candidates, will also be released on May 27th in Japan.
