SteamWorld Heist: Ambassador Challenge #10 (SteamWorld Photo Contest)
SteamWorld Heist comes out later this year on Nintendo 3DS (then later on Wii U), but if you’re interested, you can play the game before everyone else. To do so, you simply have to become a SteamWorld Ambassador. How to become one? Well, it’s quite simple: you just need to win one of Image & Form’s challenges!
And for the SteamWorld Ambassador Challenge #10, Image & Form has decided to go with a challenge radically different from the others… a Photo Contest! Basically, fans have to take a picture of anything from the SteamWorld universe… but within the real world. It can be literally anything: a re-enacting of a famous scene, a pose similar to Rusty’s in SteamWorld Heist, etc.
What’s more, fans are free to go with the tone they want for their photo: serious, funny, a bit or both… the only limit is your creativity and imagination. Previous SteamWorld Ambassador Challenges showed the Image & World staff that they could expect pretty much anything from fans… and that’s not bad thing, far from it!
Here’s the rules:
Upload or link to your picture (and ask any questions) in the comments below. We need your entry by Sunday October 11th at 23:59 CEST (EU) / 5:59 PM EDT (NA). We’ll reveal the winner in next week’s blog update (Tuesday). By submitting your images you give us the rights to freely use them in our products, services and marketing materials. The winning entry will not appear in the video game SteamWorld Heist.
You are completely free with your entry and are allowed to do some basic image editing. But let’s keep it safe for work and enjoyable for everyone. Also, make sure you’re allowed to share what’s in your picture before posting it online (including all faces, belongings, information and locations). It’s optional to include people in the photo.
The winner will become a SteamWorld Ambassador, and will get:
– exclusive info before launch;
– download codes for the game (before launch, with additional codes to share with friends).
SteamWorld Heist (3DS eShop) comes out this Fall in Europe and North America. The Wii U version will come at a later date.
