- Patch notes:
- The size of the combat message box has been reduced.
- Addressed a crash that occurred when opening a lockbox on Taris in Spanish.
- Addressed an issue where incorrect button icons would appear in some tutorial prompts.
- Addressed an issue where certain NPC voice lines were absent in gameplay
- Addressed an issue where the lightsaber icons for the Heart of the Guardian and the Mantle of the Force crystals didn’t match the blade colors.
- Addressed an issue where the colors for the full alignment icons are swapped.
- Japanese localizations have been added
- A number of cheats have been added to the game (these can be accessed by clicking in the left joystick three times).

How to download updates for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
