Splatoon: results of the 6th Splatfest (Europe, Japan, North America)

Splatoon 1Europe

The 6th Splatfest took place last week-end in Europe, and the theme was “Cats vs Dogs”. It was the same theme as the first Splatfest in North America, but the outcome was quite different. Indeed, it’s Team Cats who won, despite being greatly outnumbered. It’s because they won more matches than Team Dogs, and since the point system (logically) favours the team with the most wins, Team Dogs lost this Splatfest.

Here’s the results:

Popularity: Team Cats (44%) vs. Team Dogs (56%)
Wins: Team Cats (56%) vs. Team Dogs (44%)
Final score: Team Cats (270) vs. Team Dogs (230)

Japan

The 6th Splatfest took place last week-end in Japan, and the theme was “Squid Sushi vs. Octopus Sushi”. This time round, it’s the most popular team who won (Squid Sushi), despite winning less matches. Team Octopus Sushi may have been greatly outnumbered, they still held their ground… unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win the Splatfest!

Here’s the results:

Popularity: Team Squid Sushi (66%) vs. Team Octopus Sushi (34%)
Wins: Team Squid Sushi (47%) vs. Team Octopus Sushi (53%)
Final score: Team Squid Sushi (254) vs. Team Octopus Sushi (246)

Splatfest JP 6 resultsNorth America

The 6th Splatfest took place last week-end in North America, and the theme was “Do you prefer to travel by Car or by Plane?”. Unlike the Japanese one, it was the least popular team (Team Car) who won the Splatfest, despite being greatly outnumbered. Just like Team Octopus Sushi in Japan, they managed to hold their ground and win more matches, but the outcome is radically different as Team Car managed to win in the end!

Here’s the results:

Popularity: Team Car (36%) vs. Team Plane (64%)
Wins: Team Car (54%) vs. Team Plane (46%)
Final score: Team Car (252) vs. Team Plane (248)

Finally, here’s some pages from the Splatoon artbook, which came out last week in Japan:
