Splatoon: results for the latest Splatfest (worldwide), video retrospectives

Update: the video retrospective for the North America Splatfests is now available. You will find it below, right after the Japanese and European ones!

***

This week-end, the very last Splatfest for Splatoon took place at (almost) the same time in Europe, Japan, and North America. As specified when it was first announced, the results of this festival would be global, and therefore announced at the same time. Unfortunately, that means we will (most likely) never know who won in each region!

For this last Splatfest, most fans chose to side with Marie: at least, 54% of them did! Unfortunately for Team Callie, players from Team Marie also played better, and won more matches. In other words, the results are not surprising and pretty clear: Team Marie won!

Here’s the results:

  • Popularity: Team Marie (46%) – Team Callie (54%)
  • Wins: Team Marie (46%) – Team Callie (54%)
  • Total: Team Marie (340) – Team Callie (360)

To celebrate this very last Splatfest, the Squid Research Lab has uploaded a video retrospective for the Japanese festivals:

And here’s the European retrospective:

And here’s the North American retrospective:

Also, the Squid Research Lab shared the following illustration (“Thank you!”), and explained that they would keep sharing information about Splatoon via Twitter:

And don’t forget: even if there will be no more Splatfests in Splatoon, you can still get the special Inkopolis plaza by scanning the Callie or Marie amiibo. You will even be able to send support messages via Miiverse!

Finally, it was announced that the bonuses for winning regular matches would be increased (now that there isn’t any more Splatfests). In fact, you may get a special reward from Judd if you win enough of them…
