Splatoon: official unboxing (Nintendo Minute), French launch trailer

Nintendo Minute

With less than a week to go until release, this week’s episode of Nintendo Minute (from the Amaze-ink May) is, once again, all about Splatoon. This time around, Kit and Krysta are taking a look at the game itself and the amiibo 3-pack (containing the Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy and the Squid). If you’re planning to get either of those next week, and can’t wait to see what’s in the box, this video is for oyu!

Happy Friday friends! We are back with another AMAZE-INK video. This time, we thought we would unbox Splatoon and the Splatoon amiibo figures to give you an up close and personal look at all the squiddy goodness. Watch until the end for something extra special. See you all next week for the exciting conclusion of AMAZE-INK MAY. Have a great weekend!

But this time around, there is also a special giveaway, so you should watch the video until the very end! Here’s how you can participate (if you live in the United States or in Canada):

1. Tweet us @NintendoAmerica
2. Please use the exact phrase in your tweet: “I would rather be a _________”
a. Fill in the blank with “squid” or “kid”
b. Use #NintendoMinute and #SweepsEntry
3. Of those who enter, 1 winner will be randomly chosen

Good luck if you’re participating!

Launch trailer

Splatoon doesn’t come out until next week, but Nintendo France has already uploaded its launch trailer for the game. It showcases the main features of the game: the online multiplayer, the Battle Dojo (1 vs 1, local), the various weapons and abilities, the amiibo, Hero Mode (Single Player), and more.

Here it is (all in French, obviously):

The English version of this launch trailer should be available sometimes next week!

Splatoon (Wii U) comes out on May 28th in Japan, and May 29th in Europe and North America. Also, don’t forget the last play session for the Splatoon Global Testfire demo, in a couple of hours!
