Splatoon Mess Fest taking place on May 15th in Santa Monica (California, USA)

Yesterday, Nintendo of America announced a special event for Splatoon, that will take place on May 15th in Santa Monica (in California, USA). It’s called Splatoon Mess Fest, and several teams of celebrities (including Joey Bragg from Liv and Maddie, by Disney) have been invited. They will have to navigate a massive ink-filled obstacle course inspired by the game, but also take part in various activities inspired by the game.

Players will be able to attend the event, get a t-shirt, and even try out Splatoon there before its launch on May 29th. Even better: some fans will be able to win a chance to participate along with the celebrities.

The Splatoon Mess Fest takes place at the Santa Monica Pier, , from 11AM to 7PM. If you can’t attend the event, you will still be able to follow the event via the Nintendo’s social channels.

Splatoon (Wii U) comes out on May 28th in Japan, and May 29th in Europe and North America.
