Splatoon: 8th Splatfest for Europe will take place next week-end
Splatfest
Splatfest are special 24 hour long events that take place regularly in Splatoon. During those, players have to answer a question (like “Do you prefer cats or dogs?”), before joining a team depending on their answer. At the end of each Splatfest, the team with the most points win, based on popularity and number of battles won.
Europe
Today, Nintendo announced that the 8th Splatfest for Europe would take place on December 12-13rd, as expected. The theme is a variation of the one used in North America: “Pineapples on pizza. Yay or nay?”. If you’re a Doctor Pizzalogy, then this Splatfest is the right opportunity for you to show to the whole world your knowledge!
The Splatfest starts at:
- Europe: 7PM
- UK: 6PM
- North America (ET): 1PM
- North America (PT): 10AM
- Japan: 3AM (December 13th)

North America
Wondering when the 8th Splatfest for North America will take place? The answer is: this week-end (on December 4th – 5th), at the usual time. This time, the theme is “Which do you prefer? Burgers or Pizas?”. Those are definitely not the healthiest of foods, which is why all that running, jumping and shooting around will be great for you… or at least, your Inkling!
Welcome back from Turkey Day break, Squids! As you might have noticed, a new Splatfest was announced while we were slacking off over the break. This one’s a real doozy and we’re predicting that friendships will end over this one: Burgers vs. Pizza!
Head to the Inkopolis plaza to vote, and then head to your nearest restaurant for a snack – this Splatfest is gonna make you hungry!
This Splatfest will start at:
- North America (EDT): 12AM (December 5th)
- North America (PDT): 9PM (December 4th)
- Europe: 6AM (December 5th)
- UK: 5AM (December 5th)
- Japan: 1PM (December 5th)
As usual, this one is only for players with a North American copy of Splatoon.

Nintendo Treehouse Splatournament, cushions
In case you forgot, here’s a reminder: the Nintendo Treehouse Splatournament will take place tomorrow (December 2nd), and will start at:
- North America (ET): 2PM
- North America (PT): 11AM
- Europe: 6PM
- UK: 5PM
- Japan: 2AM (December 3rd).
