SHUTEN ORDER: latest video showcases the gameplay of the Ministry of Justice route; more details and character profiles
The latest video for SHUTEN ORDER is now live, and it gives us another look at the Mystery gameplay of the Ministry of Justice route:
Ministry of Justice = Mystery Adventure. You have to solve a series of murders that occur at the mansion of a wealthy family. During your investigation and interviews with suspects, the “Snapping” system allows you to dig deeper into any words that seem suspicious. Collect evidence, use brilliant logic, and track down the murderer!
Also, Spike-Chunsoft has shared some additional details about the game. Here’s two more locations you will find in the game:
- Shuten Academy (from the Ministry of Education route):
The school building has a traditional feel to it. By rule, all students wear some kind of mask. A legend is whispered among the students: by performing a certain ritual by the flower bed in the courtyard, two lovers will be granted eternal blessings.
- Ministry of Security Headquarters (Ministry of Security route):
Headquarters of the Ministry of Security, the organization that maintains law and order in Shuten. It also functions as a police station and accepts inquiries from the general public. It is also where captured heretics are brought, and there are rumors that torture takes place somewhere within the building.

Nephilim (Ministry of Security route)
- A legendary killer who appears out of nowhere.
- He wears a tattered costume that was once an amusement park mascot.
- Cruel and violent. Uses a grotesque jackhammer as a weapon.
Mifa – MI5-Type 4 (Ministry of Security route)
- Manji’s favorite bike. Equipped with AI.
- Polite but rude.
- Sometimes talks back to Manji, but all things considered, he cares about her.
SHUTEN ORDER (Switch) comes out on September 5th worldwide.
