Satoru Iwata announces NX, a new dedicated game platform

During today’s press conference from Nintendo and DeNA, Satoru Iwata dropped a little bomb: Nintendo is currently working on a new dedicated game platform called NX (a codename, obviously). Very little is known about this new platform, except that it will be the embodiment of a “new  gaming concept”.

More information will be revealed at a later date, next year. We currently don’t know if the release of this new platform will also take place next year.
