Runner3: details about the Hero Quests

A few days ago, Choice Provisions shared some details about the Retro Levels, which add a bit more variety to the Runner3 experience. Of course, the game itself is still about running through levels at a fast pace, but there’s a fair bit of additional content for players who like variety.

And it’s for those very players that Choice Provisions came up with Hero Quests. How do they work, exactly? Well, just like in pretty much every other game that has quests! When you approach a quest giver, a conversation will trigger. After that, you will be assigned a quest, such as gathering ingredients to make a stargazy pie for example. By completing Hero Quests, you can get your hands on some pretty awesome rewards.

Not really interested in those Hero Quests? No problem: they are “wholly optional”,  and they never appear on the “main” path of any level. Naturally, the developers do recommend you do them (and not just because they spent a non-negligible amount creating them in the first place)!

Here’s one of the characters that give you Hero Quests… Sir Strömming!

Runner3 (Switch – eShop) will be released this Fall in Europe and North America.
