Pokkén Tournament playable at 3 Pokémon Center stores this month

Last week, we learned from Bandai-Namco’s official website that Pokkén Tournament should be released on Japanese Arcades in July. Bandai-Namco also announced that the game would be playable at several Pokémon Center this month… starting this week-end, actually! However, this is not a “Locatest”, but an actual event where players will be able to play for free (most likely the final, or near-final build).

Here’s the time and locations for these play events:

– Pokémon Center Tohoku: June 13th and 14th (10AM to 7PM)
– Pokémon Center Nagoya: June 20th and 21st (10.10AM to 7PM)
– Pokémon Center Fukuoka: June 27th and 28th (10AM to 8PM)

Obviously, not everyone will be able to play, as tickets will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis. The only mode playable will be “In-game battle”, for obvious reasons (the game won’t launch until next month after all, there will be no one to play against online). Finally, players who purchase some goodies at the Pokémon Center will be able to get a special commemorative postcard.

Pokkén Tournament (Arcade) should come out in July in Japan.
