Pokkén Tournament: footage from the Pokémon World Championships

Pokkén TournamentIt was during the Pokémon World Championships 2015, and more precisely the opening ceremony, that the Wii U version of Pokkén Tournament was announced. It will come out this Spring in Europe, North America, and of course Japan (where the Arcade version has been playable since July).

This announcement was also accompanied by an “Invitational Tournament”, played on the Arcade version. The tournament itself was livestreamed, allowing fans from all around the world to check out the game in action. And today, The Pokémon Company uploaded recordings of this tournament, and more precisely the Grand Finals, the Winners Finals and the Losers Finals.
