Pokémon Sun and Moon
In order to celebrate the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, Nintendo will be hosting a launch event on November 22nd at The Old Truman Brewery, from 5PM to 10PM. At this event, players will be able to enjoy the following:
- Pokémon themed activities
- nostalgic delights
- picture opportunities with Pikachu
- intense competitions in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon’s new Battle Royal mode,
- and more…
Players will even be able to meet Shigeki Morimoto (Battle Designer of the Pokémon series), and get the Mythical Pokémon Mew for Pokémon Red Version, Pokémon Blue Version, and Pokémon Yellow Version on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console.

Pokémon Sun and Moon (3DS) comes out on November 18th in Japan and North America, and November 23rd in Europe.
Nintendo Minute
In November, to celebrate the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, Nintendo is having a series of a special Nintendo Minute episodes entirely dedicated to the game. In the first one, Kit and Krysta discuss their 5 favorite things about the Alola region with Junichi Masuda and Shigeo Ohmori!

Remember the Nearby Pokémon feature announced quite a while ago for Pokémon GO? Niantic announced today that players in the following areas could now try it out:
- parts of Arizona
- the Seattle area (Washington state)
- rest of the San Francisco Bay area
Unfortunately, we don’t know when this feature will be available for all players…
