As announced last week, the latest event for Pokémon GO will start on June 13th (June 14th in Japan). This one is about the Summer and Winter Solstices, and focuses on Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon.
Here’s when it takes place:
- Europe: 10PM (June 13th)
- UK: 9PM (June 13th)
- North America (EDT): 4PM (June 13th)
- North America (PDT): 1PM (June 13th)
- Japan: 5AM (June 14th)
It will end on June 20th/21st, at the same time it started.
During that event, Pokémon such as Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and their evolutions will become easier to find in the world. Same for Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and other Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon.
What’s more, there’s also “huge” bonuses for successful PokéBall throw: Nice, Great, and Excellent throws, but also Curveballs and First Throws. Hatching egg will also earn more XP. And if you can’t get enough of all those bonus XP, then why not get a Lucky Egg in the shop: they will be available with a 50% off discount.
