Pokémon TCG

Today, during the opening ceremony of the Pokémon World Championships 2018, it was announced that the Pokémon Treading Card Game was soon getting new, game-changing cards known as Tag Team Pokémon-GX, introduced as the next evolution of Pokémon-GX.

Tag Team cards feature not one, but two Pokémon of the same type (such as Pikachu and Zekrom, both Electric-types), who join forces in battle. As a result, they have an unprecedent amount of Hit Points and power: they’re so powerful a single Tag Team GX attack can Knock Out a Pokémon-GX on the opponent’s Bench with a single blow. But of course, there’s a catch; when that happens, your opponent takes 3 Prize Cards. In other words, using a Tag Team GX card is a high-risk, high-reward move!

Here’s a trailer:

More Tag Team Pokémon-GX cards and further details will be revealed at a later date.
