Pokémon news (Dec. 7) – Pokkén Tournament: Sceptile to be revealed this week?

Last week, we learned that a new playable Pokémon for Pokkén Tournament would be revealed on December 10th (this Thursday). Bandai-Namco gave a clue: the (Japanese) name of that Pokémon ends with “n”. Many fans are expecting it to be Sceptile, which does fit with Bandai-Namco’s clue (it’s called Jukain in Japanese).

And it turns out the new playable Pokémon in Pokkén Tournament might very well be Sceptile after all. Today, a picture found its way to the internet: it shows Shoko Kakagawa (host of Pokénchi – Pokémon no uchi atsumaru?-) playing the game. In the back, we can see a sign with Sceptile on it. What’s more, it reveals that Electrode and Farfetch’d are two new support Pokémon (those who won the popularity vote via Twitter).

Of course, this “info” isn’t 100% guaranteed just now, but at least, we only have a couple of days left before we find out if it’s real or not.

Pokémon anime series

Since Friday, a new special episode of the Pokémon anime series is available on Pokémon TV. It’s actually the prologue to the Hoopa and the Clash of Ages movie. And from December 14th onward, the Hoopa’s Appear Operations mini episode will also be available in Pokémon TV.
