Pokémon GO
With the recent update for Pokémon GO, Niantic completely blocked third-party tracking services, which were allowing players to locate Pokémon. Yesterday, Niantic shared a statement on their official website, explaining that they did this in order to less then charge for servers (which already had enough troubles to keep up).
You can find the statement on the official Niantic website!
Talking of Pokémon GO, have you been encountering issues catching Pokémon since the last update? If yes, there’s a good reason: it looks like a bug is affecting throw accuracy, making Pokémon more likely to flee (at least… that’s the official version). The developers are currently working on a fix, but we don’t know when it will be available.
Trainers, a new bug affecting throw accuracy increases the odds of escape and omits the XP bonus. We are working on a fix, stay tuned…
