Pikmin 4: latest trailer reveals character customisation; some footage

On July 21st, the long-awaited Pikmin 4 will finally be released worldwide on Nintendo Switch. With less than two months to go until release, there’s still precious little we know about the game. Fortunately, it looks like Nintendo is finally ready to show more of it!

Today, the company revealed the latest trailer. It’s called “Rise to the Occasion” in English and “Prologue Trailer” in Japan, and shows part of the prologue. It also reveals a new feature: the ability to create your very own character!

Also, Nintendo launched the official website in Japan. As of writing, only one section is open (Introduction), with two more to be opened at a later date (Your Buddy/Companion and Rescue Tips). This indicates that there’s still a lot to discover about the game, and that Nintendo will make further reveals in the near future.
