Paper Mario: Color Splash – Rescue V Episode 1 (So Many Missions!)
Today is the first day of gamescom 2016, so naturally, Nintendo is taking that opportunity to make some announcements, and reveal new elements for already-announced titles. Good news for Paper Mario fans: the company did upload a brand new video for Paper Mario: Color Splash.
Called “Paper Mario: Color Splash – Rescue V Episode 1”, the video is a spoof of super heroes TV series, such as Power Rangers. Rescue V is the name of a pretty real super hero team that appears in the game. Its members are:
- Rescue Red
- Rescue Blue
- Rescue Yellow
- Rescue Purple
- Rescue Green
In this video, we get to see the many times the courageous Toads will help Mario during his adventure:
- when they become stairs for Mario to climb on
- when they become a bridge for Mario to cross on
- when they all pull on a vegetable stuck in a pipe, in order to get it out
- when they become train tracks
The courageous Toad will do a lot to help Mario during his adventure… but will they get any credit for it? Nope!

Nintendo plans on uploading more episodes as we get closer to launch.
Paper Mario: Color Splash (Wii U) comes out on October 7th in Europe and North America, and later this year in Japan.
