NIS America Showcase 2019: all the announcements (The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers, more)

Yesterday, NIS America announced and showcased several games for the Nintendo Switch during the NIS America Showcase 2019. Most of them were already known (and in fact, already had a release date), but there were a few brand new announcements.

In case you missed the presentation, here’s the full recording (which includes the post-presentation livestream):

The Alliance Alive HD Remastered

During the presentation, NIS America confirmed that they will indeed release The Alliance Alive HD Remastered in Europe and North America. It will be released this Fall, most likely with a simultaneous release worldwide (since the game was also announced for this Fall in Japan).

Here’s the debut trailer:

Here’s some details:

An age of darkness has befallen the world. The Dark Current, a cataclysmic event caused by the Daemons’ emergence, has decimated the population and divided land into separate regions, leaving the survivors to be subjugated by Daemonic overlords. To reclaim their home and free their people, an unlikely fellowship of heroes will band together to spark a fiery revolution. Explore various realms, gain new skills in the heat of battle, and form alliances to stand against the Daemons!

• A Vivid World – Explore numerous themed realms using ships, animal mounts, and flying machines.
• Forged in Battle – Ignite your determination to execute critical attacks and “awaken” new skills for your characters mid-battle.
• Stand Together – Form alliances with various Guilds to bolster your strength, while gaining access to new vehicles, areas, magic, and more.

Also, the game is getting a Limited Edition, now available for pre-purchase on the official NIS America Store. It costs $64.99, and includes the following:

  • The Alliance Alive HD Remastered for Nintendo Switch™ (includes 9 paper dolls)
  • The Alliance Alive HD Remastered Art Book

It is up to a young girl named Sherry, her friend Pegreo, and Isaac, the time-traveling robot, to unravel the mystery behind the strange events. Together, they’ll revisit the past and peer into the future, learning some very interesting things about their families and their peculiar town.

• Time-Walker – Explore the enigmatic town of Clocknee and watch as the world shifts around you based on your actions.
